I believe Anom is now on the Jewel He is a wonderful, young man who made my vacation so special. Always smiling, always so kind.

I stand corrected on the location for One Spa World. They are listing a Florida address on Google. Sorry for the confusion.
-
It is called One Spa World. I believe they are located in London. They are used on most of the cruiselines.

I would not suggest walking from the Sheraton to the pier, even though you can see the ship. There are no sidewalks and the bellhops outside the hotel will discourage you from walking. Cabs are readily available and it might cost $10.00. Well worth it.

There isn't an actual formal night. Just wear what you want and have a great time! You will see all type of attire. You can go as formal or casual as you like. Enjoy!

It was this way on Saturday as well. I called NCL and the rep stated he thought the cruise had been sold out. Who knows?
-
It is still on, but Epic is not accepting reservations until passengers board the ship.

You may ask to arrive several days before or after your cruise, but you can't choose your flight. Once tickets are issued usually at the 45 day mark, you can contact the airline involved and choose seats and sometimes ask for an upgrade. I have used NCL several times and have always been satisfied. Pretty decent schedule, no complaints thus far.

Don't worry, I got my final air from NCL at 45 day mark. Then, you can call the airline and choose your seat and sometimes they will offer upgrade( for a fee). If you check your summary, it should show a tentative air plan, but that isn't written in stone. At least in my case, mine changed.

I was on the Epic during Halloween one year. They did have a parade with all the little ones in costume, and they did decorate the Garden Cafe. Other than that, nothing that I noticed.

I am booked for air with NCL for November, 2021. I got fabulous flights, going with Delta, coming back with American. Couldn't have done any better if I booked myself. Totally satisified.

Just got an email from NCL informing me of a change to my itinerary. Coming into NYC a day early, but we can remain onboard until the next morning which would be the regular disembarkation day. My mail has not arrived yet so it is still a mystery.

I just thought it odd, since money must be tight, and they would spend 1st class postage when they have always included the tags in our printed tickets.
-
3rd class or standard is the way NCL mails advertising, generally post card or pamphlet. This is first class in an envelope. It isn't "junk" mail. I will just have to wait and see.

I have always gotten luggage tags to be printed out when I got my tickets via email. I knew that people staying in the Haven always got luggage tags mailed, so that is a nice touch.
-
Well, thank you. I am surprised if it is luggage tags as I am in a studio as well. Luggage tags so much better than a cancellation notice!

I am not staying in Haven so that couldn't be it. I have always gotten my luggage tags when I print out my ticket.

I have a service from USPS that scans mail that is to be delivered to my home and sends me an email with the images of that mail. Today, I found an image of a first class letter from NCL to be delivered today. I can't even imagine what that would be as I have always gotten my correspondence from NCL via email. Has anyone else gotten a letter via USPS lately? I will be biting my nails until the mail is delivered today!!!

Beginning Oct 1, 2021, the Vatican is requiring proof of vaccination or testing before you can enter the property.

Just wanted to add that you might want to check with NCL about the mixed vaccines. I thought I read that it wouldn't be accepted. If sailing out of US ports, mixed vaccines not allowed. If sailing non US ports, mixed are allowed. Sorry for the confusion.

Had the booster the other day with no side effects. Should be all set, I hope....

I can only speak for myself when I say that I have received a number of letters from NCL with attachments and the various changes. I am sorry to hear that many of you have not. I still continue to check Facebook pages I belong to for any future changes, etc

NCL has posted all of this information on its web page. It can be found under the section labeled "Safety." Since I am taking a cruise in Nov., I check that website daily for any new information forthcoming. Plus, we all receive emails with new information. I have no complaints with the way NCL has communicated with passengers. And, with the pandemic, things can change hourly. We should all be grateful that we are cruising at all.

Ben & David Epic
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
I respectfully disagree with this review. I have sailed the Epic over 20 times and I haven't experienced or viewed any of the issues that Ben and David did. My last cruise on the Epic was on the transatlantic in April 2023 and it was fantastic. As always, the crew was outstanding and so accommodating, the ship itself was very clean. Of course, it needs an update, but that is coming in 2025. Was this going to ruin my cruise experience? Absolutely not. Some people are not happy with anything. I cruise alone so the so called "issues with the bathroom don't exist for me. People need to do their homework when booking cruises so they can decide whether it is a good fit. In closing, I defend the Epic, the crew members and their dedication and look forward to my back to back to back on the Epic in December, 2025.
