My friends and I are cruising on the Carnival Glory next month. We are going to Belize, Cozumel, Roatan and Grand Cayman. We were thinking of doing a tour in Belize that includes ziplining but I'm not sure if this would be the best island for us to do this on. I'm looking for some feedback. Thank you so much in advance and happy sailing!!
Belize is a country

for those googling New Orleans has a streetcar system, not a tram system but googling the word tram will likely get you there.

Do the chocolate tour with taste Belize

Credit cards work fine in Mexico

except for 2/13,14 and 15 there is no 70% chance forecast from now to 2/22

you likely read the forecast wrong, try again

Perhaps I should have rephrased that, does the flea market accept USD? I know inside the gated area does but I wasn’t sure about outside the gate.
Already answered that

TripAdvisor is a great resource but I always try to check other websites as well, such as cruise critic, Disney boards if my trip includes that etc...

Given the high number of fake reviews not a good source

If we venture to the flea market outside the gate, what currency do they use?
Well being it's Belize they would use Belize currency or they use USD at a rate of 2 BZD to 1 USD

You must have missed the mall the made in Roatan shop the Open Air Market and the various craft shops

Fly to Ambergris Caye

Does anyone know if there IS an excursion that matches the Carnival one? I'm curious if anyone has gotten the price match on a Lamanai excursion. Thanks for the responses.
The entire cruise experience is designed to Pander to people's fear of the world

Coxen Hole has a fair amount of tourist shopping

Roatan is a pretty standard typical Caribbean island. I will say there is no Old Colonial architecture on the island. The beaches are typical Caribbean beaches. The island is quite hilly. Roatan is primarily a snorkeling diving destination. The island is equipped with your typical tourist eating and shopping.

Tulum is unique in that it is the only known Maya fort but it is is indeed fairly small. Take swimsuits for the kids as there is swimming on the beach below the ruins.

Not sure if there has been a change but Tropic Air and Maya air had 10 minute flights between Belize Muni and CC.A few years ago we considered ferrying over and flying back but decided to stick with the ferry because our port time limited our time there.
The water taxi/ferry is the same. You can rent a golf cart on CC if you want to explore more.
This is been covered already in this thread there are currently no flights of any kind to Caye Caulker. Reread post 8

We are still debating Maya Key or Daniel Johnson’s but I have a few misgivings. Can anyone here who has handled monkeys, sloths or parrots at these two locations answer a few questions?
We’re you ever bitten or scratched? If so, did you need any kind of treatment?
Did you notice any fleas?
Did the animals look healthy and well cared for? Did you get the feeling they were being mistreated or exploited?
Did you put anything on a customs form about handling wild animals? If so, were you questioned?
Based on experience, did you feel comfortable handling these animals? Would you do it again?
Thank you so much for your input!
There is the not leaving Wildlife Alone and announcing it on a travel board. That's one bad effect.

Much Ado About Nothing. When you're on a cruise ship you go where the ship goes. If you're in a port and there's any sort of danger they won't let you off the ship really very simple.
