I’m just glad my toenail grew back in time for this trip. The rogue can of biscuits that rolled outta the fridge and onto my toe before the Celebrity sailing did some damage. I was completely toenail-less for about 2 weeks.

From DFW to Heathrow is 9 hours 20 minutes with I’m pretty sure… if my math is right a 6 hours time change. Then to ATH it’s 3 hours 35 minutes with a 2 hour time change.

This waiting around all day is for the birds. I’ve questioned my packing 200 times. I’m not sure where anything is located. I did just realized I made a spray tanning error. I left a bandaid on 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not noticeable at all, right?! 😬

I’m probably going to check the BA app 2 million times today. Sorry, not sorry. Canceled flight problems.

Originally, we would have been on the road to DFW by now. Instead, we will head out about noon and grab an early dinner in Dallas. We had purchased seats with British Airways for the DC to London portion of the flight… that was refunded and fortunately, the almost identical 2 seat arraignment was available on the new DFW to Heathrow flight, and cheaper. The saving of a whole $18.70. I would say that I’ll try not to spend it all in one place, but it’s airport life, that’s like one bottle of water in the terminal. 🤷🏼‍♀️

And we have both sets of boarding passes with seat assignments. This might actually happen. sidenote: why do I still have those etix from 2021 in there?!

Last one for the night… I’m actually tired, right on schedule. If I’m like this tomorrow on the plane that will be perfect.

They definitely will. I talked to Hotel Thissio and Moxy about doing it. Both said it wasn’t a problem.

And once again, checked in, and this time the flight to Athens is still “on time”.

Yeah we will be there in the afternoon. I’ll try to get adjusted and just function at a pub. 😆

10:45… the one I booked. We may leave earlier though. Just depends on how embarkation day goes. I really want to see the changing of the guard and full costume only happens at 11am on Sundays…

Disembarkation times just opened up. I can’t even get to Athens and they are all ready kicking me off the ship. I booked the 10:45am group.

Well IF it happens it will be good domestically, but that’s always a HUGE IF.

It’s a shame our govt officials worry with so much other petty cr*p yet let the airlines ramrod everyone.

I definitely thought about this buttttt if I got stuck in Montreal… they didn’t have another flight to put me on to Athens until after the cruise embarked.

It’s going to be all right. Apparently nothing is safe or sacred anymore.
