  1. So it is before final payment and the price of my and my brother's room is down by over $400! I tell my agent she says royal doesn't see this price. I had someone call and the agent on the phone says they don't see the price. I am STARING at the price on their website right now. I have screenshots of it with the dates from yesterday and multiple different times today. The price is still 100s lower. Does anyone know who I can email the pictures to, or the right department to call to get them to acknowledge the change?

  2. Just got off enchantment this morning.

Luckily we didn’t have much rain.

Was able to go to CocoCay and Nassau. Original we we going to skip Nassau because of the TS but after heading back towards Miami for 3 hours the captain turned around and we arrived in Nassau at 11:30 that night and we docked there all night.

Good time. Had fun. Now back to work tomorrow.

    Anybody have questions plz ask.[/quo

Would you be able to share the cruise compass? I'm in desperate NEED of one to plan our group activities. Also, do you remember what was for dinner the last night?

Are the shows on the 3 night enchantment worth going to? (I'm an avid show goer, but I have so much to do. I prefer to go, but if I don't NEED to I wont)

  3. I'm the leader of group cruise. Most of the rooms in our group are interior. But I and about 3 other rooms are suites. I went on the site today, and prices for interior have gone up, but prices for suites has gone a few hundred dollars! Shouldn't my agent be able to get the people in suites the better price?

  4. No, and it is not so in most other countries.

It used to be you had to have an international boarding pass to even go into duty free. But no longer. But unless you flight is going international (and in Europe, outside the EU) you pay a higher price with duty. You will ALWAYS have to show your boarding pass when you make your purchase in duty free.

Some airports now have an arrival duty free, that you can buy when entering the country.

On ships it is duty free at see, as they are not under any countries duty jurisdiction, and you are going international.

I always fly international. Hence... there's always duty free. And its ALWAYS cheaper then where I live. That's why we stock up b4 cruises. But they always confiscate them and give them back the last day

  5. No, if you are assigned to traditional late seating, then that is the time you have to show up. You cannot walk up anytime.

    You have some options:

Go to the My Time desk as soon as you board and try to get switched to My Time.

    Specialty restaurants.

    Windjammer buffet

I need everyone to eat together the last night. That's why I choose a time in the 1st place, but didn't run into a problem until recently. My family is ADIMATELY against the buffet for dinner. We all like to dress up and sit for dinner on cruises. But I will suggest those buffet to non family, and I ill suggest specialty to all. THanks

  6. You'll be fine...How many in your "group"? if it's not many, see if you can be on the waitlist for MTD....otherwise, you can and will make late seating work. You're on vacation..no hurry for anything!

There re 100 of us :o but I'm sure most wont mind late seating. I'm thinking more for the elderly and those with young kids. Before, everyone would have been off ship so would either eat off ship or came back for a late dinner. Now being stuck on ship yet still forced to eat that late seems bad. :(

  7. We have a group cruise coming up. Before our change of ship, late dinning was the best option because our schedule of events. Now that our ship and itinerary has changed, we don't want late seating, but it's too late to change. Are you allowed to just show up even though you're already scheduled for a seating? (I know you'll have to wait, but that's better then having so wait so late to eat for no reason)

  8. Which sailing? I'm on the 16th.

So, I'm a Floridian and I can tell you that our weather in February can be kind of variable although it's most common to be highs in the mid 70's. We typically get at least a week of colder weather, but some years that happens in January, some years February and some years in March. Last year it was our spring break week (early March) and I was quite disappointed because we were at Club Med and the pools weren't heated. The week before it had been 80! Boooooo.

If you're from a colder climate, whatever weather we have will feel warm and balmy to you.

Also sailing on the 16th. Got moved to Enchantment after the Dry Docking of Majesty. which from what I heard has positives bc the ship is nicer, but still forces those driving to go a lot further (my parents actually live closer to Miami, so less driving for us). This will actually be my wedding cruise. I apologize in advance for my loud family ;p

Over half of us are "from FL" so ya, we know the crazy weather. I'm just hoping its not cold on the beach as I will be taking lots of picks on the beach in my wedding dress and no jacket :o. I need to know the schedule for the 16th and 18th so I can make the itinerary for guest activities. So if you (or anyone) finds out, PLEASE post.

  9. Where would I buy it duty free? In MIA? Do you know of any big liquor stores on the way to Port Everglades?

Isn't all airport liquor/wine duty free (sorry, I haven't lived in the States for a while. It's always duty free in other countries (it's also duty free on the ships once they leave the port)) Where will you going to Port Everglades from?

  10. Food is pretty much a 2 minute walk straight ahead from the tender port. There is shopping to the right as you leave the tender port, and the last time I was there they took cash only, and they don't haggle much at all. There are umbrellas for rent. I'd for sure bring a hat.

You can shop at Coco Cay!?!

  11. I know the policy is 2 750ml bottles per stateroom but my question is how does everybody pack their bottles for the trip? We are flying in to MIA so I would assume they would have to go in my checked luggage. Any tips on getting this done safely?

They have bags specially made for flying with wine. It can carry as much as a full bottle if broken. I wrap wine in that, then wrap them in a towel. For this situation, you could also buy in the airport duty free and carry it on the plane, or my #1 suggestion, buy it when you get to Miami. Save the hassle and concern.

  12. If your father is boarding after you then he should have a 2nd printed Set Sail pass for himself. I am sure you can check the daughter with the other family, as long as you have a set sail pass showing her with your father. I am sure others will clarify. They will issue your daughter her Sea Pass Card at the time she checks in with the rest of the family and your father will pick his up when he checks in. Her Sea Pass Card will show her she is with your father. They won't care where she sleeps. Have you indicated on your Set Sail Pass who is responsible for any charges she may have.

You can tell them to split the bill? I thought it had to be done on board. Do you know who you would have to inform?

...Yes, your daughter will be able to get on with you. It's just as Desert Cruizers said. Just have her own set sail pass printed.

  13. My daughter loves having cookies or something to nibble late at night. We use to order room service all the time. Almost $8/night for a few cookies and things can hurt the bank. Especially on longer cruises. And since it's NOT going to the staff, it is unnecessary. The great thing about cruises is they are suppose to be inclusive (minus drinks) they already raise the prices of cruises every year. To add a charge for room service was VERY unnecessary

  14. So far, my itin looks something like this:

7 am, ship arrives in port

10 a.m. - Taxis to the Ceremony location

    10:30 a.m - Wedding Ceremony

    11 a.m. - See sites, have a drink, etc ...

1 p.m. - Wander back to the ship

    1:30 pm - Don't miss the boat!

    2 p.m. - Onward to next port

    3 p.m. - Cocktail Reception in the ?????

My problem is I want to know that 3pm IS the time and where the heck it will be held on the ship so that my guests know what, where and why, not too much to ask... I think low key planning favored by some doesn't work when you have a big group of guests to worry about.

I'm trying to be calm too - the ceremony was the most important thing to me anyway, I wasn't going to let RCCL/RR rain on my parade in that dept.

Over a decade ago...i know. But in trying to plan this now. How did you timing schedule work for you? Did people actually get to enjoy the island? And how was the wedding and reception? (I hope you still have cruise critic)
