You also forgot, the newly created account to do this 'complaint' as well as they are a diamond member so they are obviously entitled to everything under the sun....up to and including finding their lost backpack from 5 months ago...

Welllll, op's Diamond status certainly trumps our lowly Platinum, by Spades at that! I'll put up 3 CCLfannypacks for the safe return of their runaway  black backpack

OP with a master class in trolling this thread. Well done.

Not to mention the obvious 😏 But op also just joined CC THURSDAY, apparently to post this nonsense. Mayhaps for attention or sympathy... I'm not buying this baloney. Especially waiting Allthese months afterwards. Ridiculous...

Hmmm maybe come to the game with a bag of tricks…

And maybe a spare bra 😉. We've seen so many *interesting* things that they've had to give up and/or collect to try and win the Quest. It's truly hilarious! ... Definitely not PG rated 🤣 with lotsa funny shenanigans!

I’m doing my first Halloween cruise this year on Venezia! I hope it’s worth the struggle I had getting my whole family to buy costumes lol.

It definitely will be! Halloween is a blast on Carnival ships. Costumes are THE dress code😉 There are a buncha activities for, not ONLY the kiddos, also for grown folk. Dr Seuss and Characters have parades, supposedly for the young to march around the ship showing their Halloween attire. Don't be fooled tho, cus there's plenty of " adults" 🤣 parading right along with'em. Great Photo Ops also. Your entire entourage will love it! Have FUN 🎃🎭👽👺👸🕷️🕸️

That looks Soo good! I've not had one in sooo long. I'm pretty sure it was when we sailed the ocean blue on the Mayflower😉... Thanks for letting me eat vicariously through your cruise! 3 sleeps and a wakeup until we board our beloved 😍 Sunshine for our Marathon of  "goodbye from Charleston cruises"  on her before she leaves us b/c of real estate & other assorted nonsense. 😢😭

Oh 🤫 😯Mom* is my guess! Being Diabetic and/or reliant upon those closest to us is no walk in the park. Nor is being Family/ Caretaker to one, (so my DH, DS & 3 DDs tell me 🤫.We're not always the most agreeable lot of people. *We* as in ME also 😉. Especially now that this stupid Kidney Cx refuses to get better and insists upon remaining oppositional. Being able to vent is paramount for ALL.. Those needing help AND those providing it.Thankfully,  your mom has a great support system, especially in you.She is very Blessed to have such a son.😇

Edited b/c chemo fog doesn't hardly let me get my actual thoughts/feelings out correctly.

    Rant time:

I'm trying to eat when I'm hungry, not when it's time to eat. I also have to work with my mom's eating schedule. She is diabetic and has to eat every couple hours to regulate her glucose levels. I get that and understand I have to be flexible.

Even for her, she is having to eat more frequently than she would like. I suggested a light breakfast to hold her until lunch. She was going to do a banana and cheerios. I could then wait until lunch to eat.

When I checked in she had ate a parfait, omelet and bacon and wanted a late lunch.

So now I needed some breakfast and am eating more than I wanted to.

Guess who was already eating lunch when I was done with my walk?

    OK </rant>

Ohh 😯 *Mom* is my guess! Being Diabetic is no walk in the park. Nor is being Family/ Caretaker to one. We're not always the most agreeable people. Thankfully, your mom has a great support system. She is very Blessed 😇

It was their system it's down. I suspect it is to do with the planned outage. I wonder if everyone's account is going to be cut off since they can't check us in for muster. They took a picture of our card and will do it manually later.

There was nobody manning priority so I was escorted to the front of the regular line.

A riot nearly broke out. I just ignored it but felt bad for the crew who took the abuse for escorting me.

Unrelated but related, this is a different crowd it seems and more like what I've come to see on Carnival lately. Rude, loud and abrasive.

Only my first impression and maybe things will mellow but the crowd in Lido is not a friendly bunch at the moment.

THIS is one of  *those times* that I Riddle to myself "Why oh Why do some people choose to reproduce" 😳

MAKING MORE FUN, SITE MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS

We're working on some improvements, so you temporarily won't be able to log into your account, make or edit a booking, or check in for a cruise online. Other parts of the site may be down as well. We're scheduled to be done the evening of 9/17. The rest of carnival.com is working, so feel free to explore away!

Thank you for the response 🙂. Yeah I saw that also. But a lot of the other things I was hoping to see(all generic) gave me the same pop-up as our upcoming cruise specifically related. Oh well. I'll just wait until they're done updating/fixing and hang out here and on X all day🤔🤣

  10. Their guise is to "make the site more fun for you..."  I'm thinking it's Actually more of  "Making sure absolutely NO more glitches like the recent *CHEERS 🍷 incident🥂* occurs"😳🤣! It WAS fun while it lasted tho..  Any other theories?

Mods:If this has already been covered, feel free to delete. I promise that I'll only cry 😢 silently. Probably. 🤔... I've just been lax in paying attention as our Next Cruise Countdown is crawling down to WhooHooYeaaaay! 🤣

  11. Cans. The coldness depends on if they've restocked recently (not so cold) or  not(cold). They also have draft beers 🍻

I have never been a beer drinker so slti have been on many cruises I always drink the frozen fancy drinks.  My cousin and niece are beer drinkers.  So I would like to know how they serve the beer. Is it can? Bottle ? And are they nice and cold ? Nobody likes a warm beer.  I don’t think they drink draft beer on tap.

They have cans. The coldness factor depends on how long since they've restocked it. The draft beers are usually always cold.

Thank you and I forgot I posted the same question last week. I’m sorry getting older and had a senior moment I guess .

Eh, no worries, nor need of ANY apology 🙂 Lol I embrace each and every minute of my life now! Especially when I wake up. Those ARE the best minutes ever... Hang tight and don't sweat the littles. Have a Blessed week🙂

Hey - since you're not far from me (76018), how 'bout I pop over with my box o' creamer and I'll pick it up from you on the Lido, lol!!

I've been trying to decide best way to get enough flavored creamer for upcoming B2B.

It's great to see that I'm not the only Flavored Creamer addict around here... Over the years I've gotten creative in my inadvertent creamer tomfoolery to get it onboard. Ecstatic to find out my semi-bad days are behind me. 😉 Well in 25days they will be!

Stopped by my sister’s while we are still in “town”. She’s at the Moore Home Depot for Halloween decorations. Her husband is here, and we are dropping off books for my nephew. It’s any and all books we were given as kids. My kids are past the Golden Books now, so his turn. Having a beverage noe and watching football.

I hope you like your Journeys cruise! We took our first one this spring and absolutely LOVED it. It was 16 days on the Spirit from Miami to Seattle. We booked our next Journeys cruise before we disembarked, we loved it so much. The crowd was experienced and not tightly wound, the vibe was amazing. We made friends. We got incredible Carnival (and general cruising) tips from all the Platinum and Diamond folks. And we were able to get to know the crew so well that when the crew put on a talent show toward the end of the cruise it was an incredibly personal and moving experience.

I only went to a couple of the stage shows, so I don't know what (if anything) they repeated but I know they brought on several special acts throughout, I remember a magician specifically but there were others. We're more into the comedy. They rotated new comedians on throughout the cruise, and I think there were 6 or 7 different ones. Before the cruise, I'd been afraid I'd be bored, but the only time I cracked a book or watched any of the tv I'd downloaded was when I got stuck in the room with a 48-hour bug (not covid, I was tested by a poor med staffer in a hazmat suit!)

I don't recall any repeated dinner menus, although some dishes were just slightly altered versions of previous offerings. There were many items I'd never seen before, and one day we had an expanded Indian buffet that was phenomenal. We'd been warned that fresh fruits and vegetables might disappear by the second week, but that didn't seem to be the case although that may have been because of our itinerary. We're doing a 12 day transatlantic next spring and I'm interested to see what happens with the food on that one. But to be honest, while it's always fine, we don't cruise Carnival for the food 😂

(We also booked a 14 day Princess cruise for next year. I think we're just long cruise people now.)

THAT was an amazing cruise! 🏆We got to justify our sons 16day+ school absence by him doing an indepth report on our Panama Canal full transit! It was amazing. Got pretty cold and rainy past Cabo, all the way up to Seattle. The crew talent show was great! Our coffee barista also won Carnival Cruiselines employee of the year... I loved the painting classes. Lol that was my first and last foray into art. There were so many additional activities that aren't often seen on a 5-8 day cruise. We've decided to book 1 journey a year, in addition to our  regulars. This was our 3rd time on Spirit and we absolutely love her. She's an awesome lil Ship💗

But Golds know where and when the parties are and know they don't need an invite

CCL certainly NEEDS to go back to admission by Invite ONLY! We've, as all P/D, Gone on many  Cruises and have earned the status we're now at... So dilution of the "perks" is pretty much wrong... I have been so excited as we inch along closer to Diamond . But now? My childish ecstasy , lol at 61years old,TODAY! Is waning quickly! Oh well, life goes on.

Oh come on, really?  You are comparing pictures and videos posted so thousands will see with someone talking about an occurence on a ship?  If nothing else the OP was taking up for the family, no names, no pictures, no videos.  If it was a family member of mine, I would appreciate the post.

    As would I...
