We don't even get the request to upload ours until 8-9 days out from our cruises. Just got the upload screen this morning for our 11/21 cruise.
👍…..I checked in with the app on 10/30 for a 11/28 cruise so almost 2 weeks. The app did let me upload the cards during check in. Validating ever since. Not to worried. Hopefully it will all work out

Its been 2 weeks for me since I uploaded cards. Still validating as of today

Does anyone have an estimate of what the average time is from when the vaccine card has been uploaded until they’ve verified the data?
😁

Were those 14 business days or did it include weekend days? I canceled a beverage package on 10/28 and still no refund. Then I changed my cruise and they said my beverage package purchase would be refunded and haven’t seen that either. Was around the same time as 10/28.52 minutes ago, familycruising4ever said:My cancellations and rebookings took place on 10/28 and 10/29 and the refunds haven't shown up yet either. That is what prompted my call to RCI and they said could take up to 30 days for drinks/excursions and up to 45 for price adjustment credit to hit cards.
My cancellation were made on 10/29 as well. Hoping the money will show up here soon.

After one week I called RCI on my 3 refunds due and was told it could take 30 days to appear. It's now been 2 weeks and still nothing. Glad I kept my cancellation emails so I have proof they were cancelled and the $ amounts as well.
Thank you so much for the info. I hope it does not take 30 days. Its a lot of money they keep in limbo for now. Was hoping the refund offset the new purchases made.

I canceled some items in my cruise planner to rebuy at a better price. What is the wait time for credit card refund these days? I been waiting 8 days and no refund yet. Starting to get nervous. TIA

I have read where others disagree about this, but it is my opinion that this message indicates that your reservation is not (and will never be) eligible for RU. I have never gotten this message and then, later, been able to bid on a RU. Maybe others have been able to go back, at a later time, and bid, but that has never happened for me.
Why wouldn't your reservation be eligible for a RU ? I have no idea ! Not all reservations are, for whatever reason. While this reason does not apply in my case, sometimes the Travel Agent you use can be the problem. A few of the big box agencies (Costco, for one) do not participate in Royal UP so if you are booked through one of those agencies you will never be able to bid on a RU.

Thank you so much for the reply. I booked directly with Royal. I just received the email to Royal Up…lol. I guess the reservation had to sync with the Royal Up system.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I keep checking with Royal Up but when I enter name and reservation number I get a message to check if sailing is within 30 days and check information entered. Does this mean my booking is not eligible for the program? We are 2 people and sail in 24 days in a balcony GTY. I booked this trip a week ago.

We are getting off Celebrity and going on a Royal Caribbean the same day. Does Celebrity offer testing on board for side by side cruise by sister company? If not thats ok. We have a back up plan. I just was wondering if anyone did a side by side and would know the information. Thank you

I did the same and it was fine. I just went back in again and the vaccine column is gone. So I then reinstalled it again and it was the same as you in which it is validation in progress. So just when in again and it is gone again. Seems for me, when you reinstall it is fine until you go back in again. Strange.....
I just checked on mine and it is gone again as well. Shout out to the IT Department. I just leave it alone now….beyond weird.

Thank you everyone for the replies and all your help. I followed advice and deleted and reinstalled the app. That worked. Now the vaccine column is showing again as validation in progress. I am able to review the pics of the uploaded card.

I submitted the vaccine information during check in via the app a while ago. It had the green check mark next to it.
I just checked the app and the entire vaccination column under check in disappeared. We sail in about 20 days.Is your vaccination green check mark column still showing or is it also gone?
Wondering if it is a glitch in the system

I never had to do this before so I have no experience with this. We had something come up in the family and have to change the date of our cruise. Our original sailing is within 30 days. We would like to move to an earlier sailing. With 48 hours cancel for any reason by Celebrity how would that work? Do they apply credit to new sailing right away or do one has to pay out of pocket? Any input is appreciated. Just want to be prepared before I call Celebrity. Thanks so much

First time Celebrity cruiser here. Sorry if this is a silly question We are in Aquaclass. When I look at my reservation confirmation it shows Celebrity Select Dining. Is this something I need to call Celebrity for? Should it show Blue Dining or is Select Dining okay?
Thanks for your help

I believe that the section of the FAQ that you were reading applied to two mRNA doses in a mixed series. The CDC recommendation for a two dose series of Pfizer is 21 days. Just as with the other lines, Celebrity will not bounce you for your 21-day separation.
CDC:
Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine
Get your second shot 3 weeks (or 21 days) after your firstThank you so much for the reply. Yes I was reading it under mixed vaccine and booster shots. It got me all confused

We are sailing next month on the Equinox and I was reading the health protocols on the Celebrity website because I wanted to make sure that I dont miss anything.
Under vaccine FAQ I was reading that the RMNA vaccine should be given at a minimal interval of 28 days apart ( maybe I was reading or understanding it wrong)
I had two shots of the Pfizer 21 days apart.Started to get nervous now that Celebrity does not consider me as fully vaccinated.
Can anyone calm my bad nerves?
Been cruising 2x since restart on other lines (not Royal Caribbean Group) and had no trouble.
I also checked the Cdc website if anything changed Pfizer shot should be given 21 days apart.

For our upcoming November 15 cruise, we checked in as soon as it became available - mid August I think. A couple weeks back we revised our boarding time to a better slot (11:30), and completed everything for check in. Today I looked at our booking and it says check in is unavailable and will start October 1? Has anyone else experienced this?
Same here for 19 November Equinox cruise. Now states check in 5 October. I started another thread with the same question before I saw this one.
-
I checked in online a while ago for our cruise on the Equinox 19 November. I got a arrival appointment and x pass. Now when I log in online on desktop or the app it states check in starts 05 October. I can not modify check in but Iam able to see x pass under manage reservation on desktop computer. On the app it states check in not open yet. Iam so confused. Anyone else having this issue?

In the past there has been a card in our stateroom on the first night of the cruise with a time they suggest you show up at the Blu. Apparently they do that to try avoid everyone showing up when they open. They have always given us a very late dining time like 8:30 PM and we like early dining. We just ignore the time they have suggested and go to the Blu when we want to dine.
The reason I mention this is the event you have a card in your stateroom on the first night. You do not have to go at their suggested time if it does not fit your schedule. When you check in at the Blu the staff has no idea of what time was suggested and they will seat you in the dining room with no questions asked.
Have a great cruise and enjoy the Blu.
17 minutes ago, keesar said:In Blu, there are no reservations. On the first night, they will suggest a time to come to dinner in an attempt to prevent overcrowding. We have felt it is more of a suggestion and you can just show up.
It can be very chaotic the first night there...Then it settles down.
Thank you all so very much for this information. This is truly helpful for us Newbies.

First Celebrity Cruise is coming up. We will be in Aqua Class. Do I need to make Dining reservation for Blue ahead of time in the cruise planner or just show up? Thanks
