I met a nice man on Liberty once that had a D+ pin totally encrusted in diamonds. He said his sister was a jeweler and did it for him. It was really cool. I’d wear that one. Never wore mine.

I guess if you got the Royal Up to the Royal Suite, your granddaughter could sleep on the piano…. 😉

This in in-room coffee maker a pod type and are you able to get as many pods as you would like?
It’s a Lavazza machine. They leave four pods a day but will supply more if you ask.

Even Jason Liberty isn’t that much of a penny pincher where cost of the name was a factor on its use.
I don’t know.. Maybe Jason found a big box of plastic keychains in the store room with Legend stamped on them and figured if he named a new ship Legend he could get some ROI out of them…

I changed locations on a Royal Up assigned cabin once but that was right after the Covid reopening so the ship was not even close to full. Not sure if it’s possible now.

I’ve found that a 4X8 sheet of plywood that sinks in the middle closely resembles nearly all the beds I’ve experienced on Royal. Maybe try that. 🙂

Why can't they each just use their own card?
Because she wants both person’s points to go on one account instead of two.

I cringe every time I’m enjoying a quiet dinner and all of a sudden I hear “IT’S SHOWTIME!” blasting over the loudspeaker.
In my opinion, most of the waiters hate it but do it with a smile on their faces. They’re already overworked and have to drop everything they’re doing and do the obligatory dance routine.- 6

I always find it annoying.

Your information is terrific! Thanks everyone. When I land and I am at the destination airport, will a Royal representative meet me somewhere and escort me to a bus that goes to the pier? I would have purchased ground transfers . I will be flying in same day if I purchase A2S.
Normally, there’s a person in the baggage claim area with a sign saying Royal Caribbean who will instruct you where and when to meet the shuttle. You’ll get specific info in your cruise documents.

This is possibly a stupid question, but who does the CC charge show up as? I have a Delta AMEX. Delta purchases have higher rewards. If I use A2S and use my Delta AMEX, is it a Delta Charge? Royal Caribbean, or A2S?
I just booked a flight and it shows up as Royal Caribbean, not the airline.

I should add that right now Royal A2S has a promo with $200 pp additional discount for economy and $500 for first class fares to Europe and $100/$200 off respectively for Alaska fares.

As above, if you pay for the flight when you book (rather than waiting until final payment date), you can choose your seats immediately.
I’ve used A2S twice for transatlantics and saved quite a bit each time as well as having peace of mind that they’ll be there to help if problems arise.- 1

Tax Season ----> Spend your refund
Went right over my head. I didn’t even think of it referring to April 15th… Especially since I usually end up paying.

Attention grabber only.
The one before that was “spend your OBC” to make you think you have some.- 2

They will unless they’ve added their sneaky little blurb “applies to new bookings only” to the sale price.

Odd. I called the C&A # yesterday and again today, punched 9 and it was answered immediately. No problems for me.

Royal is not in business to do us any favors. They will gouge us as long as it’s beneficial to the stockholders. Don’t look for anything to change as long as they’re selling out cruises.

If the watermakers were able to run 24/7, then, yes, they can make more than is needed. However, since they cannot run when less than 12 miles from shore, or in port, and if slow steaming that limits/reduces the amount of water that can be produced, so quite a few ships, depending on the itinerary, will load water while in port, as the ship cannot produce enough for the cruise based on the cruise parameters.
I’ve noticed Liberty at Galveston many times tanking up with shore water.

And fill the water tank with vodka.
Might as well kill two birds with one stone.
