I believe it would be a better show if it was cut down a bit, but I was told that Andrew Lloyd Webber would not allow ANY changes to be made in the play when royal obtained the rights. It is a little bit of an odd storyline too! Jellicle cats, Jellicle cats!

The roller coaster is fun.
Not to preach but no way I would do a dolphin tour. And after seeing a few of the places in the islands I’m flabbergasted that people actually support this type of cruelty to animals. It is very sad that people take part in this. Sorry. I just feel really bad for animals in captivity in general but I understand and accepts accredited zoos. However, these unregulated/unaccredited places are beyond the pale.
Totally Agree!

We've had obvious cases of water refused at Port Canaveral twice in the last few years. We've learned to put the water in luggage now.
I have seen it happen at port canaveral too.
Maybe it happens there more than other ports?

There are no charges for the shows.
Some people get their water through-others do not. just a chance you take.
are you talking phone chargers/lap top chargers? I have always brought those.

Had some very tasteless tilapia in my time. But it never gave me hives or caused my face to swell as farm raised salmon does every time a restaurant claims it is wild caught< I eat, react then DW insists on seeing the proof and always has been labeled Alaskan or farm raised Salmon.
Hives are the worst!
I would never eat salmon if I thought I might get hives from it!
I'd stick with chicken!
Have a wonderful cruise.;)

Usually there is another type of fish on the menu also, but, who knows how and where they are raised. How can you know that they will be any safer than the salmon. Tilapia is a perfect example. Its the common name for about a 100 species of freshwater cichlid fish. Lord only knows what you might be eating! and from where!
-
I don't think I have ever seen any fish prepared fried. Mostly grilled with a light sauce or topping. Salmon is always available from what I remember and then a different fish thrown in here or there.

Why the need to go to pdc on your own?
From what has been going on there are you sure it is safe?

On Oasis in September 2017-a porter picked it up that last morning. We also were escorted off the ship by our genie. I hope that is how it is done fleet wide and not by ship. Otherwise I will carry my own luggage.

As Veruca Salt would say..."but daddy, I want it now!"

Thank you for your extensive review. I'm glad the ship waited for you!
God Bless you for having the energy to travel with 2 babies!
You have gotta be young to do it!:)

Thank you for the review. We are due to sail shortly on Allure. Appreciate all the info.

Thank you Joe.
Glad he's still within the company somewhere.
Unless he comes back to the states I probably won't see him again.
But he and Jimmy did make a GREAT team!

I'm probably just missing it somewhere, but where is Marvelous Marvan?
We just loved him on Oasis with Jimmy Rhodes but then on our next cruise back on Oasis he and Jimmy were gone:(. Sad.

I have found that travel insurance carries a lot of loopholes!

Yes. You will fit right in.

We cruise all times of the year and have often cruised during the summer/fall hurricane season. We’ve only had two issues in the past 30 years of cruising.
A few years ago, our summer eastern Caribbean cruise became a Western Caribbean cruise.
Last year we were on the Oasis (September ) last year when Irma hit. Our cruise could not return to Port Canaveral and we were delayed three days in returning. The seven night trip that was to follow ours was shortened to a four night cruise.
It really is somewhat rare that a cruise is canceled or shortened. It is only an issue when the storm is approaching the actual embarkation or debarkation port. Otherwise, the ships will change itinerary and avoid the storm.
No need to stress.
Enjoy
M
We also were detoured to a western itinerary on Freedom a few years back and were also on the Oasis last year when Irma hit.
Everyone seemed to love the 3 extra days on board. Not me, I just wanted to get back to Florida and see what damage my house suffered. No more cruising for me during the hurricane season.

It is very difficult to see anything going on down at the pool area from the suite deck. We also preferred to sit on the lower deck with everyone else.
-
Yes, we always refer to it as the bacon rack!
I love that!!!:):D

From what I recall there is not much space between the loungers like on the Oasis suite deck. It was mostly empty but there was no shade at all and it was HOT up there!
-
I have always found better results by calling. Especially if you can use the casino representatives. They are very helpful.
The website can be naughty.

Before the cruise our Genie sent us an entire weekly itinerary. This included dinner each night at either a specialty restaurant or the coastal kitchen with the evenings entertainment we would be attending. I made a few changes to the schedule and sent it back to him. He promptly made the changes and sent it back to me, for final approval. This being said, you CAN make changes once aboard the ship. Even a few hours before doing them. Your Genie will be GREAT! and most likely will have everything arranged before you board so you will be 100% stress free and ready to enjoy Star Class.

If I didn't want to be around people I would stay home. I'm not staying in a suite so that I can ONLY be with others who stay in a suite.
I think the way Royal does it is fine.

Schooner during the day!

You should research why T.S.Eliot called them Jellicle cats.
The name "Jellicle cat" is derived from an attempt by T.S. Eliot's infant niece to say "dear little cat.""
Thank you-I do know why they are "Jellicle" cats-I still think it is silly to expect everyone in the audience to know.
