C cruise

I have cabin 13308 on Norwegian Escape - its a Aft Balcony room ... I have never been on Escape and never had an aft balcony room...and am wondering if anyone has any experience with this type cabin on this ship and can tell me about it.

we saw it on the Mariner in January --- so worth staying up

I only cruised RC once and it was Mariner of the Seas... this time I am cruising on Independence of the Seas. Has anyone stayed in a promenade interior room? Is it noisy? Also how much is a cocktail? I do not drink but my husband does - we are trying to figure if the drink package is a better deal than buying individual drinks. Thanks in advance.

I just got off the phone with NCL... she said I do not get the water because I booked last year - May 2022.... (even though it is on my beverage sheet) She also said only people that book this year get the water! I think they should just take the water off the table bc they are constantly changing who can or will get it. 

I also have the water mentioned as part of the open bar package --- I hope we get it but I have my doubts...and who would I ask about it?

will they make mocktails? what bar would be best for something like a non-alcoholic pina colada?

the Epic has alot of slot machines in the walkway - I think they are non smoking --- and one side of the casino is smoking and the other side is non-smoking.

I was able to make reservations for 2 at all different places.... that was 2 weeks ago.... today I can't book anything ... I think there is something wrong with their site... I wouldn't wait till we board because everything could be fully booked by then

Our ship is about 98% occupied and there is only 1 junior suite left.  I didn't bid and have no plans on doing so.  With the ships sailing at almost full occupancy, seems like they are trying to get every last dollar.

I have received 3 emails also --- made me think someone wants my room... its an Ultra Spacious Ocean View cabin ... they offered me a Panoramic Suite (No Balcony) but I didn't jump on it because I don't know if its really an upgrade to what I have..

no, she is not the primary one... no comp or discount..

Four of us are booked for a cruise in 10 days - a ladies trip. One of us just realized she needs to cancel --- should she be a no show? or should she call and let them know? Is either option better than the other?

We went to the Price is Right and, in fact, my travel companion won the Showcase Showdown.  He won a 55" tv but took the cash value instead.

I am going in Feb -- I am able to make reservation for specialty restaurant and the 2 MDR but it won't let me even go into the indulge hall... will I have a problem getting in there without a reservation?

Also did anyone go to the Price is Right show and how was it?

A group of us are going on a cruise --- all of us have credit cards except one lady. My question is does she need one? I only ever cruised on NCL and with them you need a credit card merged to your door card...you don't use cash at any of the shops etc... Does it work like this on RCL?

does everyone tip in the MDR?

Are there showers at the gym that anyone can use for free? There are 4 women in our room and 1 bathroom... might be nice for someone to go to gym and use their shower if its allowed...

it leaves and returns to Port Canaveral .... so they won't have problems getting off the ship in Cozumel?

Someone I am traveling with said they don't need a passport as they can use their birth certificate and photo ID instead.... we are leaving from Port Canaveral and going to Cozumel... I have a passport but am worried about them..anyone know? 

what was your favorite excursion in Cozumel? or did you just get off the ship and walk around? are there shops near the ship?
