    Hi

There is never any obligation to go into the water. At the "Stingray City" area very easily see the stingrays from the deck. The water is generally very clear and the water only 3-4 ft. deep. in many areas. There are many pictures online, check You Tube to reassure yourself.

    hope this helps

    have a great trip

thank you for this response -- I will check out the youtube videos

Stingray city can actually be quite challenging if the water is choppy or if the rays get feisty.  I’m only about 5’5” and it was difficult to keep my feet planted firmly at times

I booked stingray city mostly for my husband --- if I think its too much for me, can I stay in the boat?

  3. on the Epic last NYE and they had parties in various places with different themed music in each.... they brought around champagne right before countdown - i was in the atrium at midnight and they dropped balloons from the ceiling... people were mostly dressed up... and we had noisemakers and hats...

Ok, I want to start a poll. Who would

    a) be honest and tell NCL about their mistake.

    b) fly to Germany and share a cabin with Robert

    c) change the guest to my wife and show up in Germany and have a great, although undeserved, good time

    d) do nothing and not show up for the cruise

    E) contact Robert and see what we could work out ..

  5. The way it is set up on the cruise ship, I don't know if the child in a high chair would even be able to see what the chef is doing.. When my kids were that young, they wanted to start eating as soon as they were put in the high chair and get down when they were done - I would have never taken them to this type of meal - you are served in courses and slowly... we watch the chef cook  and then start getting food... If 8 or 10 people are sitting at the community table, I doubt the chef is going to cater to the young child - most of his jokes etc are for adults... and it isn't fair for the chef to try and entertain your child, ignoring the adults at the table that are not part of your family.. It cost too much for this speciality restaurant for that to happen.

  6. The SUN is my favorite ship... 2 main dining rooms - we ate in 4 Seasons and the food was fabulous.... I didn't find the buffet really small - you just have to keep walking as it turns a corner where you might think it has ended... and there is another part an outside area..the pool and pool area is fabulous - big pool for a small ship... plenty of bars to relax

No you can't bring water onboard.
