C cruise

I have the $50 per port excursion credit --- I booked an excursion online, and didn't see that credit (although I saw the latitude credit).... do I have to do something to get the credit applied? or will they do it automatically?

oh my fav speciality is Le Bistro.... only went there on the Epic.... only time I had escargot - your pictures OMG... I can't wait till I am on the Breakaway to eat there again!

I looked at videos on youtube and it looked like the balcony room only has a bed (that can be made into 2 twin beds) and a couch - that pulls out... Did you call and ask NCL?

wow - this was an interesting and informative thread... It was amazing that he booked the trip for you without your permission - that is scary ... any one of us could call and ask questions and wouldn't want to have a trip booked because of a questioning call. The only reason I think his supervisor should be notified is because it reflects on NCL and makes it seem like a "scam" to me...

I have never been on the Sky but I just was on the Sun and LOVED it....the only other ship I have been on was the Epic and I loved the Sun more

If its a regular balcony cabin, I think you'd be so cramped. Its great for 2 adults, but I cannot imagine 4 adults

what is Rock of Ages about?

they had a comedian one night - he was funny and another night they had the Not so Newlywed Show - and that was hysterical... 

hopefully it won't take long and you'll be boarding

wondering if you ever get to use the speciality dining ... I'll keep following 🙂

really enjoyed this report and all your pictures ... I have a trip booked for Dec on the Breakaway and so I found your report so informative! all the pictures.. all the drinks... food pics... wow, you covered so much...thanks for taking all the time to do this 🙂

we were on the Epic for NYE 2019... there were different parties all over the ship - inside and outside... we were upstairs from the Atrium looking down at midnight - had the champagne toast, balloon drop and music.... all the parties were crowded but fun! 

I'd never do a NY or Christmas cruise again though - it was over crowded --- the whole week we couldn't get a chair at the pool - even at 7 AM..chairs were saved...make sure you book your dinners and shows before you go!

I always order water for my room before I go...for a week cruise the 6 bottles is more than enough... remember you can always get a glass of water at a bar, at the buffet or at dinner...and you can fill an empty bottle at the buffet. Last cruise, we only drank 3 of them and ended up leaving 1 in the room and took the other 2 home. Won't you be drinking other beverages also?

I agree with the guy in the video - that noise would drive me nuts -- it didn't have to be that loud and I would have wanted to hear the quiet and the sounds of nature... I would have called security though and let them deal with it.

I agree that the pool can get crowded but the picture implies that it's like that all the time.  In my experience on the Breakaway, the pool and deck areas were only crowded like that when there was something going on like a belly flop contest or something like that.  Judging from the pic, there is something happening as people are watching from all around, including on the upper decks looking on to the pool area.  Not suggesting that it's not crowded, just not always like what's shown in the pic.

thank you for pointing that out... I didn't even think that it was some type of event and therefore so crowded!
