How was the location, was it load from the Aqua/parties etc? Was there a lot of foot traffic?

    Thanks

Loved the location, deck 7 is the only deck with an aft entrance/exit. So it was real convient to get down to playmakers/Boardwalk  for a drink or something to eat.  Not alot of foot traffic at all. It was also a nicer walk back to the room, I found myself walking thru the boardwalk instead of a boring hallway to get to my room. Also loved the deck 7 aft balcony by the Aquatheater. Great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning, and enjoy an aft view. I've stayed in a Aquatheater suite before(I always try to get an aft Cabin), and I can honestly  say I Liked this location better. IMO the best location on Oasis class is deck 7 aft.

Anyone stayed in 7730? I am looking at is and that balcony looks enormous(could sit 10 people easy) in videos. Any thoughts on that location?

Stayed in 7730 this past summer. Its big but 10 people is a stretch. There were 2 recliners, and a small table with 3 chairs. That took up most of the balcony.

We’re booked in 14730 on Harmony of the Seas. Is it really that bad?

For the amount of money you pay for the Aquatheater suite, the balcony on the 14 fl is way too small, its smaller than most balconies (Depth wise).  if you can, move down to the 12th or 11th fl. 11th having the biggest of the 1 br Aquatheater suites.

Exactly. As much as I am ready for a new ship after 8 on Anthem, Odyssey won't work families.

Anthem "stealth" business from NCL ships during winters this way. 😍

Explorer was in Nj for how long.No indoor pool. Yes it would suck for families with kids. But besides a couple of weeks (Jersey week, Thanksgiving, Christmas). there really isn't that many kids onboard  during the winter. I for one .hopes Odyssey homeports here. Love Anthem but think it's time for a change.

  5. Yeah loud during the shows. It didn't bother me. That's what I expected. Love the show, the best I've seen on a cruise ship. The room is great ,but I have 2 teen girls, so the bathroom situation was kind of a mess. As for the other floors, I would only book the rooms on the 11 or 12 floors.  This room category is all about the balcony and the room on the 14 fl is crazy small.  Not worth it in my book.

  6. I just booked LOS out of Cape Liberty 7/23. How do you feel about the ship. I personally love freedom class ships. But  I've been watching reviews online and most of them seems to say, she needs a  dry dock. Is she run down? Is RCI going to do a dry dock or Amp her.  I'm fine with a drink in my hand and a deck chair, but  I'm traveling with 2 teens that need the bells and whistles.  Thanks

Really? Never sailed from NJ but parked at the Manhattan cruise port several times, we always showed up before 9 and parked and folks were definitely still getting off of the ship.

The most important thing is what time of year. If its during the summer, 3 or 4 ships could be leaving from Cape liberty. Which will force some to park in the outdoor lots. Has happened to me. There are plenty of spots,  but  just not inside the  garage.

Thank you, I didn’t think of that.

Just be aware aware you might not be able to enter the garage until, everyone on the previous cruise leaves. Also depending what time of year  you leave, you might not be able to get in the garage at all.
