  1. I just read Mitsugirly's review and the place looks gorgeous but when she was there last year all the shops were closed. So no food or drinks were available.

I am wondering if the shops have been reopened???

I would love to stop here on our cruise in May but wouldn't want to spend the day without food/drinks. We wont bring our own (to much hassle).

Otherwise we will go to Bohio. Her pics of Bohio were beautiful too!

    Thank you,

  2. Thanks :)

The wifi rates are consistent with what is posted on the Carnival Site, however they do offer "full week" packages that will usually save you 1-2 days off the rate. I for a fact that the week price for the Social plan was only $25:

Here is the Carnival Site info:

    New Upgraded Plans

We have upgraded our communications technology to the latest, state of the art systems and guests now have access to much faster speeds at an affordable price! Want to share that awesome photo? Need to Skype home? Our ships now feature our awesome new internet plans. No other cruise line offers these speeds at these great prices!

We offer three different types of plans that can be purchased for either a 24 hour period or for the entire length of the cruise at a discount - price for voyage plans vary by length of cruise:

Social ($5 USD per day) – Access the most popular websites and applications. Includes: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. Does not include access to other websites or apps.

Value ($16 USD per day) – Surf all your favorite sites, including e-mail, news, sports, weather, banking and finance. Note: Does not support Skype calling or music streaming (such as Spotify).

Premium ($25 USD per day) – From e-mail to Skype, our Premium plan promises the fastest possible connection, at speeds up to 3 times faster than our Value Plan. Supports Skype video calling, where coverage allows.

GREAT! Then they DO offer the new Wifi plan. On the mobile app it is still showing -coming soon to Magic.

    Thank you,

  3. I just posted a new thread and it looks like you've answered almost all my

    questions :)

We love the Magic and Dr E is hands down The Best Cruise Director ever!!

We are glad to know that he's going to be on the Magic when we sail again

    in May 2017.

Do you know if the Magic has the new wifi rates?

    Thank you,

  4. We have cruised on the Magic many times but not since the 2.0 upgrades.

Does anyone know is the Magic has the new wifi plan yet?

Does she have Guy's Burgers AND the Guy's BBQ?

I noticed they added the Capitano Pizza , but do they still have

    the Cucina del Capitano ?

I tried to look for this info on the Carnival site but got frustrated!

It's also our first time cruising out of Pt Canaveral too!

Does anyone know the price of cab fare from a near hotel (2 miles away) to the

    cruise terminal?

As always, Thank Y'all so much!

    Carla

  5. We were on the Breeze a few weeks ago and the formal nights ARE on Monday and Friday.

The first "Elegant" formal night is more dressy,in my opinion, than the second formal night.

We always wear formal gowns, usually long but sometimes short formals.

But some ppl wore Sunday best attire where others went all out (like me).

Saw many men wearing suits, a few wore tuxedos.

  6. We were on the Breeze that deported May 22nd.

We thought the ship was beautiful.

I will agree with you regarding the sewer smell. We were in a

spa balcony cabin and the sewer fumes flooded into our cabin early every morning. Especially noticed on port days. I didn't think about telling our steward, now I wish I had if we could have gotten a discount.

We loved Guy's burgers. They were juicy, greasy and delicious!

Always cooked well done, which is what we all like. The onions on the burger bar were one of my favs too.

The Thrill theatre is open many times during the day, you can see the open times and show times posted directly to the left of the ticket counter.

It was a lot of fun. A little disappointed though that they only open at specific times to sell tickets. You have to wait in a long line to purchase tickets for a specific show time, when they have sold 16 tickets, that showing is closed.

One two rows of seats were working. The entire back row of seats were not open due to malfunction.

We loved the Sapphire dining room, our wait staff were excellent. I told them how much I adore Creme Brûlée, so our head waiter was able to order it for me each night at dinner.

We loved the Breeze so much that I booked another cruise on her in October. I was able to get the special half price deposit deal that was available today.

  7. We are staying in a Spa Balcony cabin on deck 12 Breeze,

Does anyone know exactly where the Woman's showers are located in the Spa?

We've stayed in the spa balcony cabins on the Magic and always enjoyed using the showers in the Spa.

Can anyone who used them recall exactly how to locate the in the Spa?

    Thank you.

P.S. I know this seems like a dumb question, but we actually got lost in the Spa on your last cruise trying to find the showers. Lol

  8. Ok, I'm going to stop here. Time to get ready for work. I have a short day today and will be back soon. But, I still need to gather my pictures from this day and get them downloaded. But I will be back some time today to continue. :)

I am just being curious and wondering what type of work you do? Are you a Nurse or MD?

I used to work as a Home Health nurse and loved it because I had flexible work hours. I would set up my schedule with my patients each day . It was great for about 20 yrs then I got tired of all the driving. I work as an intake nurse in an office sertting now and love it.

I look so forward to reading your review. Everyday during my lunch break I am tuned into Cruise Critic and your review! Thank you.

  9. Thank you for taking the time to post the pics of your beautiful family (your little one is gorgeous!) and writing such an informative review.

Our first time o the Breeze is in 5 more weeks. She looks like a beautiful ship.

No matter how many times I cruise, I am still so excited!!!

I do have a questions -- Do you remember if the Pixels gallery offered the photo package? The Magic offered a package where you can pick any 10 or 20 photos for a specific price? I took full advantage. We buy tons of cruise pics.

    Thank you !
