I looked for that circular ship desing on PRNT's website, but didn't see it. Did you make that yourself? In fact, I didn't see any cruise themed designs among their templates.

Does anybody know if the slot machines on the Freedom take cash? The last cruise we were on (which was the Triumph back in 2013) we had to use our Sail and Sign card when using the machines.

We are sailing on the Freedom next month out of Galveston! Only other ship I've been on is the Triumph, and I loved it! I'm not very hard to please when it comes to cruises because hey, I'm simply on a cruise in the tropics. What more could you want! I'll let you know what I think of the Freedom. If you scroll through the threads on here, I've read nothing but great things about the Freedom. One user on here posted a fantastic review of the Freedom not too long ago with great detail and pictures!

Ya'll use a local place in your town, or order on-line?

I used a local place called PRNT. (I live in OKC.) They are extremely reasonable and great quality of shirts compared to online places like Custom Ink, etc. They have a web presence online as well with a design platform to create your own t-shirt designs. Or you can upload your designs. Plus they don't have a minimum quantity when you order, so that's great for the wallet! If you're interested, you should check them out! The shirt we got was Bella+Canvas printed with 2 inks and it came out to be around $11 per shirt!

We're sailing on the Glory next June and taking members of my wife's family for their first cruise (it's only our second). There's 8 of us and I've been thinking about shirts and slogans to go on them. Maybe something like, "On the edge of Glory...pushed by a little crazy." It's still a work in progress. [emoji14] We're not sure how they feel, they don't really show much excitement, so I've been trying to come up with goofy things to make it special and fun for them. They have 3 teenage girls so I thought they'd like my choice of cruise theme song, "The Edge of Glory," by Lady Gaga. But the girls shot it down. :loudcry: LOL I'm not giving up, though.

No, we didn't come up with it entirely. There are a lot of shirts out there that say cruise control, so we just tweaked it to what we liked!

I have a group of family & friends who have been cruising every year since 2012. We always have a different t-shirt every year we wear the first day of the cruise. We love it!!!!

Our cruise to the Western Caribbean is only 50 days away! YIPPEE!! This will be my first vacation since getting my new Nikon camera. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what kind of lens filters I should purchase since I will be photographing water, beaches, bright sunny days? UV filter? Thanks in advance!

Thank you everybody for your responses! It's calming to read everybody's thoughts on this. I believe the only reason that I'm mainly concerned with all of this is the fact that this cruise is really for my parents. They've never been on a cruise before, and my partner and I purchased it as a family vacation last Christmas to take them on. I just want them to have a great time and wonderful first-time experience!

Hello all! I'm new to this forum, and I'm excited to join! I have a quick question and hope people can ease my mind. As many of you probably already know, meteorologists are expecting this hurricane season to be very active.

My family and I are porting out of Galveston on August 26 for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. Little did I know that this is in the heart of hurricane season. When I found this out, I've literally made myself sick and worried that our cruise is going to get cancelled. We've been waiting for this cruise for the past year, and I feel like I'm setting myself up for disappointment. I know a change of itinerary is possible, and I'm completely okay with that because we would still be on a cruise. I'm just afraid the cruise will be cancelled altogether. Am I overthinking this? What are the chances of a cruise being cancelled?
