We've had many trips on both QV and QE on the stern. QV used to have very large balconies but were severely reduced after the refit. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed them, even with the overhang.
We have 3 cruises booked on QA, on the deck below your's, so expect it will be fine. Just don't make too much noise above us 🙂
Hi we’ve sailed many times on QE and QV on deck 8 in the aft suites and thoroughly enjoyed them all we just love being on board Cunard and the overhang wasn’t a problem but after seeing a photo of the Queen Anne it looked so much bigger but we’re going to have a great time anyway and if we do make too much noise 😱 you’re very welcome to come and join us 🤭

It depends which way the ship is facing. If the sun is behind the ship, I'd assume it would shine on the aft balconies
Yes it will if the sun is low but if it’s at it highest, the large overhang from above looks like it could give a lot of shade.

Hi we are booked on Queen Anne in QG suite 8225 can anyone cast their expert eye over the photos of the aft and do they think that these suites will be fully shaded due to what appears to be a very deep overhang.

Hi Graham just been shopping at Dalton Park and when I saw the brand new Greggs open and how busy it was I immediately thought of you, didn’t buy anything as the queues were far too long 😂

The ship docks in North Shields for Newcastle and the shuttle bus dropped us off at the metro train station where a return ticket into the centre of Newcastle cost around £4.00 and they run every 15 mins well worth it as there’s not an awful lot to do in North Shields

We do need the 3 berth sorry just to clarify- we were moved from a 3 berth large inside into a 3 berth seaview. Insides are totally sold out if I do a search for a 3 berth now but there is availability in seaviews, so maybe at some point since I last looked at the booking a couple of months ago they upgraded us so they could sell the large inside again.
Enjoy the upgrade 👍

You could have an argument if the admin fee was not made clear, or even in place, at the time of booking
Yes I should have read their t&cs but who does in reality,

Someone posted about this last week, I assume it's the same Travel Agent . They might start losing customers with this policy.
I think it could well be the same agent, I’ve just been in touch with the head office who have explained this is a new company policy and they can change their policy and t+c if they wish to, I’m very disappointed with them this year and next year I have over £40,000 worth of cruises booked with them ( not all with P&O) so I’ve been a loyal customer to them, and obviously they are not interested so I will be looking elsewhere from now on.

Hi all sorry for not making myself clear, it was a fee free change with
P & 0 as per their t+c my travel agent announced it was new company policy to apply a £50 fee for any changes to all bookings not too happy and will contact their head office today.

Hi just had to pay a £50 admin fee to change to one of my cruises, never been charged before and they are saying it’s now company policy, I have 6 cruises booked this year with them and 5 next year, shame for them as I will now be looking for a new agent

There have been quite a few copies of the bar menus posted on here and other websites.
This is one that seems to be quite up to date...

Thank you for your kind words @mrsgoggins.
Here is a few balcony photos from our Iona cruise 13-27 January which made us very happy.
Hi Graham lovely photos, can I ask what deck you’re on ? We prefer deck 14 aft cabins but they were all booked so our next Iona cruise we have deck 10 aft which I hope is not too noisy for us, love your by the sea photos also.

That would be a 'no'..
"13.1 Alcoholic drinks, including wines, spirits, beer or other liqueurs are available for purchase onboard the Vessel at fixed prices. Passengers are not permitted to bring onboard any such drinks for use during the voyage, whether for consumption in their own cabins or otherwise. ".
Ok thanks where will I be able to find out the on board prices ?
-
Hi all sailing on the Euribia from Southampton this month do MSC allow you to bring a litre of alcohol on board many thanks.
-
Thanks everyone for your replies, I thought maybe it was only the middle and rear of deck 11 was for grill guests and the front narrow section where the wellness centre is situated may have been a running track.
-
Hi all been trying to find out if the Queen Anne will have a running track on deck 11 as the similar HAL ships have thanks.

Thanks for the reply I panicked a bit thinking it was going to be a problem, but we can’t wait to board Queen Anne she looks so different to what we’re used too but are going to enjoy every single minute 👍
