Yes. I actually watched the video that morning while at home, and listened to the emergency horn signal video in the car while we were driving to the port. As soon as we boarded the ship, we walked over to our muster station, and we received our little green anchor sticker. He told us to place the sticker over the anchor on the SeaPass card, when we got it in our cabin.

Yes.  I watched the video and listened to the horn from my hotel room that morning waiting to go to the ship.  When you step on the ship, they send you to your muster station to be checked in.  Yet a few hours later they were calling a few names to report to their muster station.

Checked in for my Aug 14th cruise a couple of days ago with no problem.  Today the luggage tags became available.

Figured out the problem.  I was on the Freedom of the Seas using Royal’s WIFI.  The Royal check in did not like theRoyal WIFI.   Still would not work this morning before I left the ship.  Now at the Miami Airport and it worked just fine.  Makes no sense.

What time did you get for check in at the terminal on the 14th?

Oh no! I will miss them. Did Odyssey get any blocks? I thought I would get one next month on Odyssey and another one in Feb. on Brilliance.

I asked the Loyalty Ambassador on the Freedom today about the Odyssey, and she advised that the Odyssey does not have any blocks.  If that is true, then Royal knew months ago that they were going to eliminate the blocks.

  4. I just spoke to the Loyalty Ambassador on the Freedom.  She will pass out her remaining blocks to passengers who reach a milestone until she runs out of blocks.  She advised that the plan is to replace the blocks with something that weighs a lot less then the blocks.  Apparently, there were a lot of complaints about how heavy the blocks were.

Thank you for the info!  Do you receive block during the actual cruise you reach the milestone, or on the following cruise?  Looks like we will reach a milestone on last day of 7 night cruise.... assuming they still have them.

On the actual cruise that you reach the milestone.  I received a block today on the Freedom because I reached a milestone on this cruise.

I kept mine...but give away the duplicates.

I used my duplicates to trade for blocks that I needed.  Also traded for blocks that I did not need when I had duplicate blocks that friends needed,  I now have 27 different ship blocks, and I have sailed on all 27 ships.

What I read was that they're still giving out the block, but not having the "big event" where it is presented to you in front of everyone at the "top tier event" (because they're no longer having the top tier event).

So yes, you get your block, but it just gets left on your vanity like your free can of soda, without the hoopla of a presentation.

The block I received today was waiting for me on the bed.

Ours for 2023 is now Radiance versus the Serenade we would have been on.  Love all four Radiance sisters..but probably Radiance is our most fond.   Many good memories of B2B Seward/Vancouver trips on board.  🥰

Love the Radiance.  Have done 15 cruises on the Radiance.

FOOD - Do you think there is better quality, more selection, presentation, service now than previously (x nr of years ago?)

ENTERTAINMENT - Canned music, no more famous stars.

    I cited two items.

What do you think are the improvements?

    CABINS, BIGGER SHIPS...........

I remember seeing Marty Allen and Norm Crosby do shows on Royal Caribbean ships years ago.  Have not seen “famous stars” in a very long time.
