  1. Thanks for the quick replies. The reason I asked is that some ships let you drop off, even though the stateroom may not be ready.
  2. I'm wondering if the staterooms are available to drop off carry-on items upon embarkation. Or do we have to lug them around at lunch until the rooms are ready?

  4. Thanks for the feedback... wow, how did you do that? As mentioned above, the accessible bathrooms have no storage space. I guess I'll have to hope the closets will hold alot, and use Mauibabes' suggestion of storing under the bed outfits for the second half off the cruise.

  7. Thanks AMF. Our room is accessible (I'm in a wheelchair) so I don't see that extra shelf in the closet. Your suggestions are good, but it still doesn't look like enough storage for 2 people for 10 days. I guess we'll make do. One problem is that I'm an over-packer. My husband keeps telling me I don't need 10 different outfits for daytime and 10 different outfits for evening, but I don't believe him.
  8. DH and I will be on Vista January 9 for our first O cruise (another Celebrity refugee). We have a concierge cabin booked. When I look at videos on youtube of the cabin walk through, I only see 2 or 3 shallow drawers in the desk and several small drawers in the nightstands. I'm really worried about where we'll put all of our clothes. I'm wondering what other people do...help!
  9. I cannot believe I am reading this. We just woke up on day 5 of our 9 night cruise on the Beyond, deck 11 Sky Suite. Since day 1 we smelled a musty odor in the bathroom, which progressively got worse. My husband's nose has not stopped running and I have a sore throat. We suspected a connection, but weren't sure. I was going to mention the musty odor to our room attendant this morning, but now it seems that the odor is gone. I wonder if they did something. We shall see. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation.

  12. Thanks for that information, it sounds encouraging. The video I saw of that area didn't look like it had alot of shade, but I guess it depends on the time of day. We shall see.
  13. JAGR, thanks for your input. I just saw a video of the Seashore pool deck, and there really isn't much of an overhang on that new area to provide shade (which I was hoping for). The seating area near the bar looks more promising, as you mentioned. We love being outdoors, but with a history of skin cancer, I need to avoid the sun.
  14. We have been on Seaside and there was very little shade on the YC pool deck. On the Seashore deck plan, it looks like there is an expanded area. Is there more shade there?
  15. That's what I've always experienced. And that's why I was hoping that someone had a phone number for FCC problems. Even the Captain's Club number is now a google result for Celebrity customer service.
  16. Is there a phone number to check on the status of FCC, other than the main number? I had to cancel a cruise in August (using Cruise With Confidence) and will receive an FCC for $6000, supposedly in 30-45 days from Aug 29. I have another cruise with a final payment date on Oct 15 , which is 47 days from the cancelled cruise. I'm hoping to check and see if I will get the FCC in time for the final payment. Anyone have a phone number for this? Thanks.

  18. I know the products will be old. My ipad is around 8 years old and barely functioning so anything would be an improvement. We will be in our first suite, so $800 OBC, which we would never use. So does anyone know if Equinox has them?

  20. I was also wondering... does this "sale" mean you can't get perks even if you want them?
  21. Has anyone noticed that the "Always Included" has disappeared? I was excited about a price drop until I got to the payment summary and the perks weren't listed. Instead it said NOPERK RATE NRD. I wonder how many people will be fooled by this.
