just today got the survey for the Journey cruise that ended Jauary 7 and it expires the 17th

Those Patio and Windows closing times seem awfully early and not what they used to be. Has it changed?

On a positive note, the ship is well maintained and spotless. Stateroom well cared for and room service breakfast and coffee service at 0630 everyday has been flawless. Wait staff issues improving with the exception of Living Room and Patio.

We are currently on Journey in cabin 8803. I cannot recommend this room as it is below the gym and the sound from guests using the treadmills is rather annoying.

Treadmill noise in 8001 as well. Doesn't bother me much but might others. But the medicine ball being dropped will rattle your dentures! 😵

I was on both ships this year and felt that the specialities were fine. Staff was asking people at the pool if they wanted drinks. Cabin was spotless. Living Room was good. So where was rhe problem if staff cutting? There should be about 420 crew on board,

 

Right now on another line and rhe bar I am in at night has one bartender but two ladies serving drinks at all times.

Living Room really bad, Patio bad, Mosaic spotty. All of those due to lack of wait staff and motivation. MDR slow but improving now that code red has stood down, stateroom no issues. YMMV.

Reasonable point but haven't seen improvement in F&B department yet. In any event a reduction in service, as compared to my previous 5 azamara voyages, the last 3 years ago, is not welcome.

Currently on Journey and can say that staffing levels need adjustment upward, not down.

Not sure when OP planned to visit SG but the Conrad website says the hotel is undergoing renovation, presumably in stages. It says the executive lounge has been moved to the 4th floor temporarily as a result.

The difference though is pre 2009 is still legal US tenderly is just the overseas parties preferences. However old design £5 and £10 notes in the UK are not. There’s a lot of changes with UK currency- £1 coins have a new style, so my advice to overseas guests, don’t hang onto any when you get home.

Thankx. Some good points. My TA usually throws in Gratuities on my O cruises plus between $650 and $900 OBC; depending upon number of nights/cost so that won't be a factor. I have to upgrade the liquor package on both but I use the OBC. Thus I didn't consider them a factor in my considerations.

Be aware that azamara ships are much smaller than celebrity ships and more likely to bob around in the open ocean if (when) things get rough.
