We wanted this but our cruise leaves on 19 March 😢
-
Sorry all. Being daft and not reading the info about the package. Now seems it is just a few wines by the glass on the standard wine list as long as under $12 a glass. Been used to just a choice of 5 wines (not that good) on MSC and Fred Olsen.

Can anyone tell me what the wine by the glass is like?

Sailing on Coral Princess From Buenos Aires via Uruguay, Brazil, St Kitts, Martinique and debarking in Fort Lauderdale. I understand that if we travel from Brazil into St Kitts and Martinique we need to show proof of vaccination or exemption at embarkation in Buenos Aires. If we do not have that proof will we be denied boarding or just be prevented from visiting those islands?

No, no chairs. It has a metal railing, so you wouldn't be able to see anything while seated anyway. It's mostly of use during the Canal transit; while at full sailing speed, it would be way too windy to be out there. Now, the aft deck on Caribe does indeed have some loungers. But, like the laundry room, it's a wicked long walk back there from C204!
Walk off some of those calories 😂

Yes, I stayed in that exact cabin and loved it. It's huge! At the crack of dawn as we approached the Canal, it was very nice to be only steps away from the open deck overlooking the bow. The location was very quiet (there's a housekeeping closet nearby, but I never heard any noise from the carts). It's a long walk to the laundry room in the aft, though! I'd happily stay in that cabin again.
Thanks. Are there chairs on this open deck at the front?

Does anyone have experience of this minisuite (no balcony) - it is at the very front of Caribe deck.

Thank you so much for the link 🙂

Does anyone have any experience of the mini suites without balconies. We have booked B204 on Coral Princess.

First time on NCL in July. We were on the Jewel.
The food was awful and left me not wanting to go back to NCL. My sister is sold on NCL and couldn't believe our dissatisfaction with the food.
We were planning on a Hawaiian cruise for 2020 aboard Pride of America. I don't know now.
I had talk to several passage about the Pride of America. They all said that the Jewel food was less than NCL usual standard and The Pride's food was great. I just read some reviews from July and Aug of this year on the Pride of America and the majority of them mentioned the food be less than great.
Have they had a change in their culinary department this year?
We sailed On Spirit in January and thought food was great. We are on Jewel next month, so now a little worried ☹️

Does the all inclusive drinks package include speciality coffees?

We are paid in full, checkin completed, within 60 days of cruise and still unable to download our cruise documents. Any ideas anyone?

We buy a larger package so we are able to take bottled water of the ship with us while we are walking around the port or on excursions. You just have to drink it all/throw away since you cannot bring it back on board. You could always do that if 6 will be too many to drink while on the ship.
Great idea, never thought of that. Will pack a couple of refillable bottles 🙂

I just ordered the 6 pack for my room. But I’m a water drinker I’ll be bringing my own Swell water bottle for tap water during the cruise. But I like having water in the room and 1 bottle a day is just about right for taking pills and things like that around the rooom.
If you have a bottle or 2 left over I’m sure you could use them on the trip back home.
We disembark in LA and are then flying to Vegas. I’ll leave any spare in the room.

You've kind of narrowed down your options of either buying a small bottle of water each time you want one or buying a refillable water bottle and filling it up in the Lido buffet when necessary. If you have any excursions booked the litre bottles of water are nice but expensive. I know, I bought the 24 pack for my 15 day Bliss cruise this past April
Had the 6 pack on Spirit 10 day cruise in January and it was just enough. Think I will go for that as realistically single bottles are going to be around $4 I think. Just don’t like waste (or too much of the ship’s own water) 😉

Understand bottled water is not included on the Premium Drinks package which we have included with our booking. Do not really want to purchase the 6 bottle water package as only on a 6 day cruise and will not drink 6 litre bottles, unless the package works out less expensive than buying say 4 bottles individually. Thanks for any advice.

You want a tea kettle you need to book Celebrity.
In my experience, kettles also provided by Cunard, Princess, Fred Olsen, Royal Caribbean, MSC especially on ex UK cruises.

Unfortunately you cannot. NCL will not all items with heating elements in the cabins.
We definitely had a drip coffee maker on our Epic cruise in 2017 🤔

Have to wonder how they deal with a couple where one of them is a Deaf person and cannot hear announcements and they are separated ?
I have very bad hearing even with two hearing aids and dread being separated from my husband as he is my extra ears. He protects me hearing wise and I protect him from being bashed about by passing trollies as he is very prone to bad bruising on his arms. I always take the aisle seat. Keeping my fingers crossed for April - its a long way to Barbados, luckily we are only flying one way.
if they are pre-assigned, why can’t we be told in advance what the seat numbers are?

Your seat assignment will have been allocated before you arrive at the desk, so arriving early or late will make no difference and that also applies to the Twilight checkin.
Is that right? Has it happened on your flights? Have to say never happened on any charter flight we have taken and it didn’t happen on the BA charter to join Poesia in 2017 . Its usually first come, first served. Not worried if seats are assigned before the day (as long as we sit together, lots of couples were split up on BA and it caused a lot of bad feelings). Will hopefully use twilight bag drop to get rid of suitcases to save time on the day. Then we can enjoy our breakfast without rushing 🙂

Should add we are taking a sandwich lunch on with us just in case 😉

Been advised by several other posters that Virgin are not involved in anything other than chartering the plane to MSC and providing flight crew. Everything else is down to MSC rules ie, no online checkin, baggage weights and sizes etc. We are on the same flight and hope to do twilight checkin on 1st April but even for that, you apparently report to the MSC desk first before going onto check in for the flight and get your sest assignment. However I think the rules MIGHT be different if you have upgraded to Premium Economy 🤔
Hope this Virgin charter flight is better than our BA charter to join Poesia in 2017. That was dire with couples being split up in the plane, inedible food and filthy loos after just a couple of hours ☹️

Remember you should have 12 drink vouchers per person included in Fantasica package.
I’ve read that you won’t get those if you buy a package.
I don’t drink so that’s 24 for my DW so we are skipping packages on our Feb 22 cruise on the Sinfonia
Thought they had stopped those. We are in a Fantastica balcony but our TA has thrown in the Restaurant and Bar drinks package (booked it last February) and an internet package.
Just added Best.Sale.Ever to existing cruise - seems good?

Says in the t&cs it is applicable for cruises from April 2020 🤔
