Does anyone know what happens when the category of stateroom you booked is recategorised.
We booked a B3 balcony which is now categorised as a an A2 concierge do we get concierge benefits or what came with our original booking,I cannot think if some booked it as a concierge they would offer different benefits to different cabins in the same location?
I have asked Oceania but the answer I got didn’t make sense
We are in the same situation. We booked a B3 which is now an A2, on Marina. We didn't pay for a concierge cabin and won't get the concierge benefits.

I haven’t searched to see if anyone else may have noticed it but…
Our beloved B category “extended balconies” on Oceania and Marina have been reclassified as Concierge cabins.😳
Yes they have.

If you call can you do it right after midnight EST or do you have to wait for business hours? I am guessing the latter.
You have to wait for business hours.

Have many of you booked your excursions this far ahead? Do they sell out that quickly? If you do book a year out do you call first thing in the AM? Thanks for any input on what has worked best for you. I will be a newbie on Oceania in May 2025. Other cruise lines I have been on handle their excursion bookings in different ways.
We always book them 365 days out. We call Oceania direct. The website has too many problems in this area.

I haven’t used them specifically, but they’re listed on the VisitSvalbard.com official tourism site, so I wouldn’t worry too much. I do recommend reconfirming your booking and meeting details directly with the company. Especially since some tours may be canceled if there aren’t enough participants to warrant the trip.
When we visited Longyearbyen on a traditional cruise, we reconfirmed everything with the local outfitter in andvance, and it all went smoothly.
Thank you.

Anyone have any experience with a company called Spitzbergen Adventures? We are thinking of booking a private tour with them.

I have done this 5x and always 60 days from embarkation. Never a problem.

btw, none of the luxury lines (SB, SS etc) is refunding the port fees as far as I know.
Regent does not.

Book the trip. We just got off of the Riviera last week. She is in great shape, the service and food were excellent.

How soon can you apply for the Shareholder OBC? I know they want it at least 15 days before sailing, but what is the beginning of the window period?
Thanks
I have had real good luck sending the form in 60 days from embarkation.

When we first got to Saigon, our guide gave us a lesson in how to cross a street. Wait at curb until you gather at least 15 people who also want to cross. Form a wall or mass together and walk as a group. Traffic is crazy. They don’t stop or stay in lane. It’s a free for all. Motor scooters carry entire families and their stuff. Good luck in Vietnam. It’s an amazing place.
I was there in 1970. Sounds like nothing has changed.

We are on a 30 day cruise on Marina in March. I booked 10 tours together to get the 25% discount, but the discount wasn't reflected and had to contact O to get it credited. What I am wondering is if any of these tours get cancelled, does the 25% discount go away? Do I go back to full price even if the tour itself is cancelled? I have a few ports I didn't book an excursion, for this reason. It may end of being cheaper to add an excursion to get me back to 10 at the 25% discount. Does anyone know?
We have had excursions cancelled in the past and the prices never changed on the remaining ones.

We are boarding Rivera in Abu Dhabi. I take a lot of medications. Some are narcotic. What hoops do I have to jump through for UAE customs I also have a CPAP machine. I have a list of all me drugs signed by my doctor and a copy of my prescriptions from my pharmacy. Do I need to do anything else
Google "UAE medication clearance", there is plenty of information available. The UAE has a special website that you have use. When I did it, they wouldn't let me bring anymore than I needed for my stay in UAE, about 3 days worth.

Thanks. Just outside the period for booking, so will need to wait a couple of weeks as this view is not available when I log in. Also, I have not seen any place to purchase the Unlimited - maybe not available yet either?
It's been my experience that the Unlimited is not worth the extra money. You can do the math and see for yourself.

I know agents can't be recommended on this forum, but does anyone have any tips for finding a good seasoned agent? We prefer not to use Oceanias in house group.
Google "oceania connoisseur club".
