  1. Just off the Glory 4/21 to 4/28 sailing. Interior Verandah cabin was 83 degrees first day, called guest services diamond line and a service guy appeared in about 90 minutes. Okay, I had to call twice and he showed up 10 minutes after the 2nd call.

He measured the interior temperature at 80 degrees, inspected the A/C vent, said he saw the issue and needed to open up the flue. He actually waited in the hall for me while I finished up getting ready for dinner, about 5 minutes. When I returned to the cabin later, it was comfortably cool and stayed that way for the rest of the week.

    Good to know thank you!

  2. We’ll be on Glory in June too. :) And yeah, I got word from someone who was just on it that their cabin was warm too. We were on Conquest two years ago and experienced the same thing. We take our portable fan (8 inch) on all of our vacations, including that last cruise, and will be taking it again. Not just for cooling, but for white noise too. We take a long extension cord (10 ft.) so I can put the fan right by the bed.

Think I’m gonna bring one for each side of the bed so BF and I both get one

    See ya on June 9th!

  3. Yes, it went into dry dock on January 4th, the day I disembarked her from our NYE cruise!

We enjoyed our cruise, we too did the 4 night and now with the 2.0 upgrades I think it will even be better

  4. I was in Rome last summer, we booked a tour to Capri from Rome, we took a bus to Naples and then the ferry to Capri and it was the most amazing place I have ever been.

If you’re wanting to do the Vatican, make sure to do a skip the line guided tour. There are also double decker hop on hop off tours everywhere that enjoyed

  5. Could be worse. You used to have to go to your cabin first and get your life vest. The only thing worse than standing in the heat in your lifeboat station with 200 other people is standing in the heat in your lifeboat station with 200 other people while wearing a lifevest.

Yes I have been on cruises where you needed to bring your Life vest, that was NOT fun
