Now this is concerning, I don’t mind some waves but darn it, I do get sea sick.

As a passenger for the 03/03 sailing out of NYC on the Escape I've been watching the weather.
I see there is the potential for a Nor'easter Sunday night into Monday, buckle up folks it could be a bumpy ride.

Quite often we go out of NYC in the winter, my husband hates to fly.
That being said, we take the first and last day to really relax. We also sail in the Haven so it's just very relaxing for us in the courtyard, spa appointments and of course the casino for us.
It's always personal choice.
Have fun whatever you choose.

Following. We board next week, Haven and Cabana as well. We have done this same itinerary, same room and cabana I’m just wondering if anything on the island has changed. Look forward to your play by play.

It does appear that could be possible. Can they open the casino if they are porting tonight?

Of the 13 cruises under our belts, Bermuda is by far our favorite island. The beauty, the feeling of safety and freedom to explore. The ease of getting around the island, the cleanliness, the beaches, restaurants, locals, I hope you love it as much as we do. Heading there in two weeks on the Escape. Love Bermuda.

Quick question. Is the Chefs Table still available? Specifically the Escape. TIA
-
Just went to check on my bids and they have all disappeared. Can't access them anymore via Vacation Summary or Messages?
Anybody else seen this?
Me either. I did up my bid a little on one of the options and went back and it's gone, not even an email left. We sail the Escape 06/10/18.

We drive to port and we check our clubs, bringing them in June as well, just works for us.

I know we aren't allowed to bring out own water onboard...however out of my 6 cruises only ONE confiscated my Zephyrhills packaged water.
Has anyone been successful with getting thru security on the GETAWAY in Miami with their own water?
Thanks!
Just follow the rules and you will be fine. Curious if you drink coffee or ice tea on board?

We have done New England twice, both times in the Gem. It's a wonderful itinerary, both times. The history is facinating if you enjoy history with a beautiful view.

Probably the best review I've ever read. Everything wasn't perfect but no big deal. We sail in the Haven on the Escape, June 2018. I'm wondering if you will ever sail anywhere but the Haven? We always sail in the Haven and will never go back, I'm a lucky girl.

re: Have on Jade and other "mid size ships".
First off, the Haven is just a courtyard with a very small pool. Limited access to that floor.
Haven and non haven suites are equal other than access to the Haven Courtyard.
Breakfast and Lunch are served in Cagneys/Moderno. No special place for dinner, or drinks.
And, your wrong. The ship they are referring to is the Escape and breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the Haven restaurant. Then you can go to the Haven deck and easily find a cushioned recliner to lay on and have bar service all day. When your done with that you can go to the Haven bar and not have to wait in line for a drink and sit in the comfy chairs in the lounge. So, the Haven is a wonderful and worthwhile experience if you enjoy that type of thing, I do.

It's supply and demand. Go grab a lounge on the beach and enjoy your relatively free day. NCL provides amazing platters of food and full bar service all day, worth the price of admission in my opionion. We had a great time in our villa, $499.00 for the two of us and would more than likely pay 600, we loved it that much. It's all what your willing to pay.

Most importantly they will take good care of your Grandmother by boarding her before the masses, that goes for debarkation as well. Have a great time.

**This is a recording***
Any live sports programming is dependent on 3 things. Is it available on the active satellite the ship is using. If so, did the ship/line pay to watch the particular program (likely in the case of NFL, but not guaranteed), and if THAT then is the signal strong enough for live broadcast weather permitting.
You will know none of these things in advance so if a game is that critical, the only sure way to see it is not to be on a ship.
***end recording***
Got it, I guess I annoyed you asking this question. The reason I did ask is because I didn't know. Apparently you know pretty much everything.

What are the chances my DH will be able to watch the game next Sunday on the Gem out of NY? I would think with all the NY'ers on board there would be a mutiny if it wasn't showing. Anyone?

Hi. We're sailing on the Gem a week from today...first cruise ever. I look forward to seeing your information.
See you aboard. We've done the Canadian itinerary before on the Gem, one of my all time favorite cruises.

Quick question. My MIL asked me if they pre-book an excursion and find they can't go on it due to health concerns is that money refundable?
Thanks everyone.
-
I completely agree. Giving communist governments our money never felt right to me.
I find it interesting that people who would probably risk their lives to save a squirrel and would protest treatment of humans in other parts of the worldWould actually spend a dime in Cuba
Spending dollars in Cuba is not helping the common man in Cuba. Don't kid yourself
But hey at least you have bragging rights for visiting Cuba

We are sailing in the Haven, I’ll have my Bonine and ginger. I’m not worried at all, we’ve done this itinerary a few times.
Just looking forward to getting out of dodge for a week.
