  1. I am aware that the Latitudes Points program has changed.

We just received Platinum status on our last cruise, 05/01/16. When I look at the website the one page states I have 77 points but the graph, if you will, shows us still at Bronze because of the points change system.

So my question is, are we grandfathered into the new system if we are already platinum?

Thanks in advance and I apologize if this subject has already been beaten to death.

  2. We are doing the BA to Bermuda the first week in May. We are going mostly for the golf, not really beach folks. From the research I have done, the water is usually chilly and the jelly fish are prevalent. I can let you know when we return how the weather was and if I get near the water, I'll stick my toe in and let you know that as well..

It apparently isn't the most popular time go since 30 days out there are still 18 Haven suites available.

  3. The spa on the BA has everything you would normally see in a spa of this type. The ceramic lounge chairs looking over the bow are wonderful. The pool is refreshing and relaxing. There is a sauna, a salt room and lounge chairs are all wonderful. I can not think of one negative.

I would choose a pass to the spa for the week over a massage if I had to choose between the two. We are booked in May on the BA and purchased our spa pass with the discount already. It's really what you make of it like anything else.

  4. We have enjoyed the chefs table twice, once on the Gem and the other on the BA. Same menu both times. It's a really great experience and if you have never done it on NCL I would recommend it. Going on BA again in May and will not do it, (unfortunately) due to the menu being the same. But if you've never done it, I would highly reccommend it. Veal is one of the courses along with sea bass. Just my thoughts.

  5. Hi Folks, We will be in Bermuda the first week in May-2016. We plan on at least 1 day of golf.

My question is, since you can not rent cars what is the best way to get yourself and golf clubs to courses?

Is there a course that is more cruise passenger friendly than another?

    What course would you recommend?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  6. I don't agree with this. There is a misconception that if someone isn't in the Haven, they can't afford it. That's simply not true. There are lots of people for whom the Haven doesn't appeal for a variety of reasons.

However, there are plenty of Haven guests who consider themselves to be above everyone else, and you can spot them on this forum, but especially on the ship. It's important to their self worth to be sure as many people as possible know they are in the Haven. These folks are in the minority, thankfully.

I'm thinking you just made a broad assessment not really knowing what you are talking about. The beauty of cruising is the ability to choose your accommodations. Haven guests, like myself enjoy every perk granted to us, we pay extra for this and if you think we are elitist and snobs then so be it. I'm sure if you were offered a Haven suite you wouldn't hesitate to accept it, of course if you could afford it. There in lies your problem.
