We spent 2 weeks on NA after the dry dock. There is new carpet in many locations but it’s getting ruined by the numerous water leaks all over the ship. Morimotos is new and our dinner was spectacular! The food was incredible and service was excellent. We were very impressed with the whole evening. Morimoto was on the ship right after dry dock to train the staff.

North bound cruises usually sail into College Fjord which was spectacular this fall. It was the highlight of our cruise.

We were on NA this Christmas and felt they did an excellent job of providing a fun and exciting Christmas for all ages. On Christmas Eve night the crew and officers performed a concert of Christmas songs followed by a nice message from the captain. On Christmas Day Santa arrived on stage to the delight of the children. The kids (all ages) were so excited to see Santa. This was all topped off with some eggnog. We really enjoyed Christmas with HAL and now plan to book next Christmas with them!

I started doing paint by numbers during the pandemic. Now I always bring one or two on a long cruise to fill up some of my free time and keep me out of the casino! I’m no artist but I enjoy painting them. 🙂

The thermal spa was in bad shape in August. There were broken heated beds, showers not working and the pool was cold. I complained and got some money back. The spa manager told me it hadn’t been touched during the dry dock. We found the rest of the ship in good shape along with a wonderful crew. Food is very subjective but we always found something we enjoyed in the MDR.

I went on a cruise 2 weeks after my first TKR. I continued to do as much PT as I could on the cruise and brought a special blow up pillow for leg elevation. I used a cane (which actually helped during rough seas!) and wore my compression sock. I did have my doctor’s blessing for this trip. Best of luck on your surgery! 🙂

We were on the Regal in January and I agree the Enclave was not in the best shape. The drinking water was usually empty, towels smelled of mildew and I never saw a worker come and check on the facility. Went on the Crown in March and the Thermal Spa was in really bad shape. Many people complained about non working equipment and “we’re working on it” signs were put up for days. I’ve always booked the Enclave/Thermal Spa on Princes but I doubt I will in the future. Now on HAL I love the Thermal Spas!

You can come and go to the thermal spa as much as you want every day with the pass. Sometimes I go twice a day. Enjoy!

I eat off the kids’ menu about half the time in the mdr on both Princess and HAL. Both lines are very accommodating to my kid requests. I often find the simpler the meal the better chance of a good tasting meal. I especially like the chicken strips on Princess!

I’m currently on the Crown in a mini-suite and there is no curtain. In the past I have hung a sheet with heavy duty magnets.

Does one know the cost of the thermal spa on Crown’s 15 day Hawaiian cruise? Thanks!

Has anyone been on a Hawaiian cruise on the Crown lately? I’m curious what the turnaround time is on laundry. I’m hoping it’s quick so I can pack lightly. Thanks in advance!

We were on the same cruise as the poster with anytime dining. We had a different waiter each night but did not experience any problems with the wait staff. We did notice a brief delay between the appetizers and main course but we tend to go with the flow and enjoy. The food was quite good and much improved since we sailed on N.A. right before the pandemic.

Hi, We are looking at a Panama Canal cruise on the Eurodam. Is the best cabin for a Panama Canal cruise an aft cabin? I know they say it’s best to be out of your cabin and walking around the ship but we will most likely spend most of our time on the veranda. Thanks for your help!🙂

I’ll be booking a B2B on the Eurodam in Alaska. I’m trying to decide between deck 4 and 5 for an aft verandah. Does one deck have more shade coverage, larger decks or cabins? Any help is appreciated. Thanks🙂
