Yes! Every time we had pre-taken one, they would retake it and sometime twice if there’s a second checkpoint like you mentioned. The ONLY time I ever took one that I just knew they would retake because it was really bad was in Barcelona on a Mediterranean. Guess what?! No new photo. I had to live with the one I took (like a bad yearbook photo) popping up on their little security screen through all 5 ports we left the ship from!! 😂😆 Thanks to all for the luggage tag tips. I don’t have the fancy holders yet but often bring my mini sized stapler so I can staple to my heart’s content. The staples feel easier to be wasteful with than using an ENTIRE sheet of paper for 1/5th of a strip. 😜 Folding them takes exactly enough time to question why I don’t buy the holders.

I’m pretty sure we had it at Chops the next night. I believe they ask where you will be dining as someone else mentioned. I didn’t even notice the 40% off until I looked at my folio at the end of the trip. 😂 This is probably true. We’re not really wine people so couldn’t quite finish it on the first night.

I have not tried to get any wine elsewhere but they were able to save the discount bottle for us at a specialty restaurant to drink the next night. I believe that was at 150 Central Park on the Allure. We did this twice on that sailing.

Thanks so much for the tip! We are going to be on the 8 Day, too, but get to do opposite end itineraries for the AC islands and CocoCay instead of Labadee. We have done the Labadee/Aruba/Curacao itinerary on the Allure in 2022 so the ports aren’t necessarily new. We booked this one to try out our first Odyssey and your photos capture some really great details. 😊 And I’m here for IT no matter how long it takes to follow along. I can tell it will be a worthwhile report and I’ll probably be reading along while on board next week!

Yes to putting your phone in airplane mode. Once onboard, you will be able to open and use the RC app you have downloaded. From the app, it will then allow you to connect to the Wi-Fi you pre-purchased.
