I have had the opportunity to experience several lines over the last 15 years and I would say although Disney is initially more expensive I have found by the time the trip is over its very similar in price. I did a NCL cruise to Alaska and the price was about 5900 and the same cruise was 7500 on Disney. I ended up spending 7300 with the extra venues and activities on NCL and Disney my bill is usually under 500 extra. So 7300 for NCL and 8000 Disney and overall my kids are happier with the Disney Kids experience. I know it's 700 bucks difference but overall, I find the value better at Disney. But I still enjoy other lines as well.
