Somebody suggested Park Connect. Inside the garage across from terminal 2 and 3. Does anybody have experience with this? When I checked it, it would cost us $35 for the 5 days.
Anybody???? I am hoping to get some feedback before I decide if I should book this or not. Thanks all!

Try the Florida departures forum for questions like this.
I did but didn't get too many responses so I thought I would try here.

In a couple of weeks we are sailing on the Brilliance leaving from Tampa. We have never left from this port before. I thought I saw folks saying parking was $22 a day but when I go on the port's website, it says I can prepay for parking...$75 for our 5 night cruise...making it $15 a day. Is there an advantage to prepaying and is there a difference in the cost of parking? I was a little hesitant thinking maybe what I was looking at was an offsite parking lot and not at the port. It didn't appear to be but I didn't want to go ahead and prepay before I checked with everybody here. Thanks!

You should check out Park Connect. I site I found on this site.
We also have never been out of Tampa, and are going on the Brilliance
the 28th. I am paying (you have to pre pay) $28 for 5 days. Inside the
garage across from terminal 2 and 3.
I just checked their website. It would cost $35 for our 5 day cruise. Sounds promising. Anybody else have experience with Park Connect they can share?

We are booked on the Symphony in September and I believe we were told it is Jaimie's.

A friend is sailing on the Anthem this Friday and is curious about what kind of performers are on the ship (not the regular shows). I couldn't help her because we were on in April and August and The Royal Swedes were there and they are amazing!!! I'm pretty sure they aren't on the ship now. Anybody know who is on the ship and is good? TIA
-
Thank you I will.

We are going on the Symphony for the first time in September sailing from Miami. We usually don't do excursions anymore and just enjoy the quiet of the ship. We will usually get off the ship, walk around and then return to the ship for lunch and quiet pool time. One of our ports is ROATAN, HONDURAS which is a port we have never been to. Started looking at what excursions are available but can't decide if we should do any. Our favorite excursions are usually one that gives us a tour not just going to a beach. My question is does anybody have any suggestions from their experience with this port or does anybody know if we don't book any excursions, can we just get off the ship and walk around?

I believe your sailing in Feb is docking at Pier B according the the cruise ship port schedule. The pier that got damaged is right at Mallory Square. We are on the Brilliance in March and I checked and she is docking at the Outer Mole which is the Navy pier
Thank you! It has been a long time since we have been to Key West and we had no idea where it docked. We are looking forward to it and it is the reason we booked this ship and itinerary.

My husband just read that a cruise ship crashed into a mooring dolphin at Mallory Square in Key West and that the pier will be closed for a few months. We are on the Brilliance in February and one of our stops is Key West. Does anybody know if RCCL docks at Mallory Square or somewhere else? If they dock at Mallory Square, are they able to use another pier?

We were in 10506 (I think that was the # 😅) in August and we loved it. We also usually book a balcony cabin. Our daughter and son-in-law were down the hall in a balcony room and our room was definitely bigger. We loved having that extra space and the extra chair to sit on. I would definitely book that room again.

FYI - according to the RC app Mariner is currently supported. I hope this helps!
Where on the app can I find this information? I wanted to check the Brilliance but I'm seeing this information.

I just tried to go on the website to check to see if I could use the cruise planner and got that same message!

I know they are a bit of a gimmick, but I plan on getting some on our next cruise. They are only $5 and are reusable on other cruises that offer them. Plus I plan to take advantage of them while in the gym and at the pool when I may have the Sea Pass in another bag or something. Now I can leave the Sea Pass in the state room during gym and pool time.
We were on the Anthem in April & August and both times were told we could not reuse the Wow bands that we had to buy new ones each time. They said it had something to do with the Muster station. I hope this was true because we threw ours out.

Thanks everybody. My daughter and her fiance haven't set a date yet or decided on any plans. They have both been married before so this doesn't need to be a big wedding. I know I had seen pictures someplace of a couple that got married I think in Bar Harbor so it got me thinking about going on a cruise, which we had already suggested to them, and getting married at one of the U.S. ports. I didn't know if they would need to get a license in that state or they could get one in ours...NJ. My husband has already discussed marrying them so that will probably be what will happen. I will check again On RCCL's website to check the cost of getting married on the ship.

Has anybody gotten married at a US port? My daughter is engaged and we want to take her and her fiance on a cruise and suggested to them perhaps getting married at one of the US ports. Just wondering if anybody had done this or attended somebody else's wedding. How do you arrange for this to happen and would you recommend it? It seems like getting married on the ship is very expensive. We are thinking of Anthem since we live in NJ. Not sure when Anthem is leaving Bayonne for dry dock.

Thank for your review, we sail February 18th.
Us too!

I do have a copy of the booking confirmation but I find it strange that it is the only way I can look at anything. My TA is actually my daughter so I know I can ask her to check for me but I used to be able to view everything on my own on the website. I know I can go the "my calendar" and see every day but it is very frustrating not to be able to just take a look at my reservations.

My husband and I have 3 cruises booked. Friends are joining us on our 3rd in 2020 (they live in a different state than us). They booked and linked our reservations so we would be able to dine together. My question is how can I check specifics of my cruise(s) on the website? I want to be sure we are linked with our friends and I'm not sure if I also have to link them to us. When I sign in, I see our cruises but can't figure out how to look at everything about the cruise. One of them we might want to change our dining preference but I'm at a loss as to how to do this. FYI we booked through a TA and wondering if that is why I can't see anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ocean views are usually on deck 2-3 while interiors can be as high as 14
Interior for me, don’t like to be wasting that much time in elevators.
Sent from my iPad using Forums
We had an ocean view on Anthem and were on deck 8. So not always on deck 2 or 3.

We always go to Sorrentos and enjoy a couple of slices of pizza. Never crowded and we can sit, talk and enjoy our lunch.

FYI...if you don't want to use your credit card for onboard purchases, you can go to Guest Services and give them cash and replenish as needed. If you haven't used all your cash, you can go get a refund for the unused amount. We did this on the Oasis.
Park Connect in Tampa
in Florida Departures
Posted
On another board I had asked about parking at the port in Tampa. Someone posted that they used Park Connect and were very happy. Anybody here familiar with this? It would cost us $35 for our 5 night cruise as apposed to paying $75 at the port. Also, they made it sound like it was actually a parking deck at the port right across from where we would get on our ship (the Brilliance). I would love to hear more feedback before I decide whether or not to go this route. Thanks!
