We are getting ready fot our 4th cruise on the pride from Baltimore. The first 2 were smooth headed south and really rough headed back. The 3rd was rough out and smooth back. Hoping this one in july is smooth both ways.
-
We have only had the dou card waiting on the next cruise if we reached 5000 points on the previous one.
-
We are on the pride for the 5th time in july. Baltimore port smoothest we have seen. Pride is our favorite out of 6 we have been on. Alchemy bar, guys, red frog pub are some of our favorites. Nite time movies on deck also. Grand Turk and HMC are great places. Our cruise in july is to there also but includes freeport.
-
The ones we are seeing right now only run into July. We booked last week for July 10th. Room $250 +tax with $100 obc.

We have used the $25 social on the last 3 cruises and it is really easy. All you need is the social media app on your device before boarding. On board turn to airplane mode and wifi on. It will connect to the ships wifi and walk you thru the set up. And yes you need it on each device to communicate with someone else on the ship. We used it to keep up with kids and family using Facebook, and messenger. Does not let you use email on this plan. Worked very well for us.

we have gone twice this year from Baltimore and arrived around 11 each time. that made a total of 4 trips from there and seems that was a good time to arrive each time. think we were always on and having lunch before 1:00.

we did anytime dining last year on the Sunshine, and it was different but not a problem. instead of going to the dining room you go to a table 2 decks up to check in. if there is a table ready they send you down then, if not you get the pager and then turn it in there and go down 2 decks when your turn. the taste bar is right there where you check in so you can sample while you wait.

The casino bar has coffee and you can ask a waiter to get a cup anytime for free with your dou card. It is good fresh brewed coffee. Not the nasty lido stuff.

if you all use face book the messenger works great with the cheapest wifi. we used it on the Pride with success.
-
Anytime you want, go to the cage and take money from your players account as cash.

We have been on fantasy class, pride, victory, valor, sunshine, and liberty. Liked them all. Least favorite was sunshine. Favorite by far is the pride.

The shuttle takes about 30 minutes. The shuttles are lined up to take people back. They will be there.
Thanks for the info.
-
How long does it take the shuttle to get back from horseshoe bay? If we went over at 8:00 would there be one to have us back before 1:00. Probably would only want about 3 hours of beach time.
-
We have done 5 with the old menu, 3 with the new menu's, and 1 on royal caribbean. Honestly don't see a lot of difference. Always plenty of choices we wanted to order and most everything we tried we liked. We like good food but not at all picky. Can't believe people that go on a cruise and can't find food to eat.
-
Also, the bars mentioned above. How late will they be open?
-
Thanks all. One more. How early can you get to a nearby beach in the morning and which one would you pick having to be back to ship to leave at 1:30?
-
At the dockyard are there things to do late into the evening and how late. Also if we are in Hamilton during the evening what is the latest we can get a bus or ferry back. Or how much would a cab for 4 be. We will be there late october. Also is the water temp good for swimming then?
-
Every cruise I have been on the casino has opened within an hour or less of leaving port.
-
Our 4th time on the pride coming in october. Our favorite ship. Plus we live near baltimore. Have had some rough seas going up or down the coast, but only caused minimal movement.
-
$25 only gets the social plan and that does include facebook. you can't access other internet sites. no texting or phone service with that plan. we have used it twice and it works well for face book and messenger.

we were on this same cruise and agree the embarkation and debarkation were the easiest ever. this was our third time on the Pride out of Baltimore and is our favorite ship. this was our ninth cruise overall and we enjoyed it very much. food was fine. we ate most meals in the dining room and went to the steak house once. that was an amazing meal and we highly recommend it. also spent time in the casino and left them a good donation. enjoyed the beach at Grand Turk and HMC. did not do much at Freeport but still enjoyed the day.

last week on the Pride we had the 12 pack delivered prior to boarding, and it was spring water bottled in north Carolina. the free bottles of water they left us as the gift for past cruisers was also spring water but bottled in Tennessee. both were good.

We are glad to get her back. Our june cruise will be our third Pride cruise. We have enjoyed them all, but our favorite is the Pride.

we were on a cruise on the Valor a few years ago at Halloween, and it was a lot of fun. we dressed up a little but some went way out, and some went too far. there was a contest were they marched the dressed up ones across the stage and the crowd picked the winner. some of this may not have been good for children to see.
go have fun and dress as much as you want. there will be plenty that do. otherwise just sit back and people watch. that will be entertaining also.
