  1. We have used the $25 social on the last 3 cruises and it is really easy. All you need is the social media app on your device before boarding. On board turn to airplane mode and wifi on. It will connect to the ships wifi and walk you thru the set up. And yes you need it on each device to communicate with someone else on the ship. We used it to keep up with kids and family using Facebook, and messenger. Does not let you use email on this plan. Worked very well for us.

  2. we did anytime dining last year on the Sunshine, and it was different but not a problem. instead of going to the dining room you go to a table 2 decks up to check in. if there is a table ready they send you down then, if not you get the pager and then turn it in there and go down 2 decks when your turn. the taste bar is right there where you check in so you can sample while you wait.

  3. We have done 5 with the old menu, 3 with the new menu's, and 1 on royal caribbean. Honestly don't see a lot of difference. Always plenty of choices we wanted to order and most everything we tried we liked. We like good food but not at all picky. Can't believe people that go on a cruise and can't find food to eat.

  4. At the dockyard are there things to do late into the evening and how late. Also if we are in Hamilton during the evening what is the latest we can get a bus or ferry back. Or how much would a cab for 4 be. We will be there late october. Also is the water temp good for swimming then?

  5. we were on this same cruise and agree the embarkation and debarkation were the easiest ever. this was our third time on the Pride out of Baltimore and is our favorite ship. this was our ninth cruise overall and we enjoyed it very much. food was fine. we ate most meals in the dining room and went to the steak house once. that was an amazing meal and we highly recommend it. also spent time in the casino and left them a good donation. enjoyed the beach at Grand Turk and HMC. did not do much at Freeport but still enjoyed the day.

  6. we were on a cruise on the Valor a few years ago at Halloween, and it was a lot of fun. we dressed up a little but some went way out, and some went too far. there was a contest were they marched the dressed up ones across the stage and the crowd picked the winner. some of this may not have been good for children to see.

go have fun and dress as much as you want. there will be plenty that do. otherwise just sit back and people watch. that will be entertaining also.
