  1. I was able to program my Harmony remote for that model TV. We'll see if it works next week!
  2. @calicakes We are on the Equinox next week and hope to bring our Apple TV along to stream movies. Would you mind checking the brand and model number for the TV? We want to bring our universal remote along and it would be a great help to program it before we leave! Enjoy your cruise!
  3. I'm shocked at the ruckus my simple question caused. I never imagined anyone would care so much what I'm wearing on my feet. I am a boomer in my mid-fifties and when I was growing up, they were called thongs and "thong sandals" later when thong underwear came around. I agree with the posters who said a flip flop is a flat rubber shoe with a strap between the toes that makes the flip flop sound when you walk. My "flip flops" do not have a flat bottom, they are leather, and they definitely do not make the flip flop sound. I also own a pair of leather sandals that technically meet the dress code standard with a strap around the back, but the shoes I posted are far classier and stylish than those.
  4. You're absolutely right! They are Vionics and were more expensive than my fancy heals that I'll wear with my gown and they are worth every penny!
  5. LOL - aren't they the best! I have them in black too!
  6. Are "dressier" flip flops like these allowed in the dining room in the evening?
  7. Does anyone know if there's a comfortable place at the port to sit and wait for boarding? We are just sitting at our hotel reading and waiting for our recommended 11:30 boarding time.
  8. Can I ask what you consider to be the advantage of Select dinning is over set times if you're going to set a time anyway?
  9. We have select dining for the first time on our upcoming cruise and I have a few questions. First, is it possible to make a reservation an hour or two before the dining room opens (like call ahead seating) or do we have to wait until we arrive? Second, how difficult is it to get a table for two by the window, for example? What's the longest you've waited for a table at a specific time, etc? If you had to wait, did you get a buzzer so you could go to the bar and until your table is ready? I'm sure it depends on what time you go and how many other people show up at the same time. I'd just like to hear your personal experience with select dining. I've thought about going online and booking times before the cruise, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of having select? Or would I have better luck getting a table by the window by doing that?
  10. You're probably right. I bought a collapsbile cooler for this trip months ago because I'm not used to going to beaches where they have bar service. I should have researched first. I can understand why they wouldn't want us bringing our own.
