Princess might have a kiddy pool area on some of their ships. I haven't seen a waterslide on a princess ship I've been on. Where other cruise lines would put a waterslide princess puts skywalkers' night club. Princess makes everyone of all ages happy so don't worry. If the kid loves sweets hill love the international cafe.

I went on the star and it was nice, but if this is a major concern for your cruise you could contact a travel professional or princess directly. you can search up google and find someone wine lists other wise. search "Princess cruises Vines Wine list"

When I was on the oasis chops was great and I got for free as a travel agency special. The steak was amazing and the spices were great. I don't know if I'd pay for it as an extra.

Princess I'd probably take. did you consider rccl?

when I was in st.maarten on the oasis there was minimal damage still visible, so yes it's ok. I like st. maarten better than cozumel because it felt a little safer and a little more developed. I think east is better just a little nicer.

I think one on the side would be better since you see the scenery on the side of the ship. The ships is identical to star, which I went on to alaska. I don't remember the pool being covered on ruby, but on star there was a covered pool.

Oasis I thought, didn't have much of a cruise ship feel and felt more like a city that's on a boat that just moves a bit. I felt that there were not enough views of the ocean because I had a central park balcony. I also thought the lower deck areas other than the mdr should've had a view of the ocean. The ship didn't feel as big on the inside, only when I was walking to my cabin.

We were on 8/12/2018 cruise and just submitted our review, but would like to get others thoughts on that sailing if you were on it. We have cruised RCCL quite a bit and felt the level of service has gone down hill, especially in the MDR, but also the food quality and over all RCCL experience has declined. Dont get me wrong, we had a good time, but usually after a cruise, we are WOWed, this time it was just eh... I think the ship was too big for us, although our kids may disagree. We are a family of 4, 47, 46,15,12. It was also very odd not to feel the ship move most of the time. Even in pretty rough waters. I also though it was more expensive than usual. Our end of the cruise tab was about $2800 and we purchased the drink package and excursions prior to the cruise so it didnt even include that. When im fully recovered, ill take a closer look at that bill...
Overall, good time, not great.... Happy to answer any questions.
Thx
I was on your sailing and I thought the food was a bit lower quality than princess.

have fun on oasis! I was just on her 2 weeks ago!

star was excellent, when I went on my first cruise on her 2012 to alaska. she is one of the most beautiful ships I've been on

if you're going to labadee they have rhum for $6 at the marketplace, but you need to bring a cup.

Don't bring cash you only use your seapass card to make everything easier. only place credit cards excepted is next cruise. Only complimentary,no-reservations required places open late night are cafe promenade and sorrentos. everything else closes before 9. The best place to find liquor on the ship would probably the shops on the royal promenade. On this ship if you didn't book an oceanview cabin you won't feel like your on cruise ship.

Agree with all of jacquelyn’s post except the wine is 2 bottles per cabin (as long as there is a guest of legal drinking age in that cabin) not per person.
We loved Oasis and I’m sure you will too!
You need someone who's 21 in each cabin anyway, though you can get extra keys.

on the oasis the internet was better than average, you were able to stream videos and shows. I did alaska and liked that our ship had indoor pools, does adventure have any indoor pools for cold weather sailings?
-
on the oasis it was pretty full for the headliner showtime with lou gazarra

I saw in cruise compass online, it was open. When I was on oasis it always closed at 6pm.

I'm going on the Oasis in August. I have a question about the messaging function on the royal iq app. does that work on the oasis?

If you are member of AAA or CAA you can use travel agents through there. Otherwise you can call up the agency and look to see if there are cruise-specific travel agents

Do they only have waivers onboard?
-
I am going on the oasis next month and I heard that you have to sign waivers for zip-lining, rock climbing and the flowrider. Does anyone Know if you can get the waivers before you get onboard?
-
Are the menus in the Royal app exactly the same as on-board or do they differ a bit?

E432 is better princess does a good job of prevent you from hearing noise, I was under the buffet didn't hear anything both times.

I went on oasis and it was sad knowing there was less public areas (for non-suite guests) than originally built. That ship was large but they still didn't have many crowds. I have been on a few princess and weren't crowded either.
