We leave in a week; can you ask for CUC's in small demoninations; for the bathrooms etc? Also, if reading correctly, you must have smaller denomination bills, in perfect condition to exchange for CUC's? Thank you!

We will be sailing with RC for Cuba in August; in addition to having our Set Sail Passes completed, can you tell us what additional paperwork needs to be processed prior to boarding? For instance, is the Cuba Travel Certification form provided to you and filled out at the port? How are the visa's issued?

We are cruising in 2 weeks; can you ask for specific CUC's when exchanging your USD's?

My husband and I have decided on a Norway cruise for our 30th anniversary (2020). We are looking at RCCL's 11- Night Artic Circle Cruise or 14 day Princess, Land of the Midnight Sun (two weeks is close to the max time we can vacation. We have never been to Copenhagen (advantage RCCL) but wonder if the ports we would be missing on Princess make it the better choice. Any suggestions from previous cruisers are welcome (excursion selections, best time of year to travel). We enjoy outdoor activities and traveling more on the bridge seasons.

Thanks for the shopping tips! Any suggestions on how much money to exchange? There will be four of us; my husband and our two adult children; shopping, food and of course a cocktail or two!

Foodies, keep the recommendations coming for both Tampa and Havana!

Also suggestions on where to find souvenirs from Havana; we like to collect small paintings/artwork, unique jewelery, rum (Havana Club noted), cigars as requested by friends and a small humidor; luckily we're driving....no worries checking luggage!

So glad to read all the responses! It seems my planning is on the right track; we're spending three nights in Tampa and have reservations at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. Our son wants to hit Cigar City Brewery as well!

As for Havana, can't wait to head off the ship and explore; we to have "booked" the bar hop with Strawberry Tours!

Thank you all for the continued responses! It looks like we'll enjoy that last bit of pampering and go with the valet parking! We have booked a walking tour with RC for Day 2 but any recommendations for activities on the day we dock are welcome as well as insight on sailing on Majesty. We have steered away in the past from the large cruise ships but Majesty will be the smallest we've sailed on.

Thanks Jim! We have an overnight in Havana and plan to explore on our own when we dock. We want to hit the market then Calle Obispo in the evening. Is El Morro worth a visit? Any insight on the Majesty is appreciated; "White Night", best place for an evening nightcap?

We will be leaving out of Tampa in August on Majesty of the Seas. This will be the first time cruising out of the Tampa port. We're considering valet parking; as much as we hate our vacation ending, we'll need to hit the road shortly after returning!
