  1. I can't wait for the review. First trip on the Pride and out of Baltimore. I know i only leave 50 minutes from the port but always want to start out somewhere warm for cruises in March. Taking this cruise in June. So excited.

I had to laugh when you said you stop at Maryland House. That is our stop when we head to New Jersey to Atlantic City. HMM wait i'll be stopping there in a couple of weeks heading that way.

  2. i just got off the Sunshine on March 15th. I will have to say i had a great favorite ship that i have been on. My first and second sailing was on the Destiny, so yes i wanted to compare. The lack of walking space around the area of Blue Iguana has to the worst. I did see buckets collecting water in various areas. I never smelled anything bad in any of the areas. I also had a missed port day, Aruba, so that made us have 3 days at sea in the beginning of the cruise. The casino waiter and waitress has to be the worst i've ever experienced. Did i have a good time.... of course i was on a cruise in the middle of winter. Our cabin steward was wonderful and the layout was great and with plenty of room. Balcony cabin deck 7. The main dining room food was good. Epic Rock has to be the best show i've seen done on any Carnival ship. Loved it! The comedy club was crowded but if you get there early enough to stand in line you will get a good seat! if you don't at least you have a TV screen to watch. Will i sail the Sunshine again - NO. My favorite ship so far is the Breeze, but i didn't like the Dream at all. So as we all say each person's has their own likes and dislikes and i go in thinking i'm on a cruise ship in the middle of winter in warm weather. It never is that bad!

  3. You will have to come back here and tell us how the 14 day repo cruise was. I so wanted to go on that cruise. I just couldn't figure out how to tell my boss that i was going to be out of the office the entire month of March. I'm just getting back on the 15th from the Sunshine. I could have rented a car headed to Tampa and then have someone pick me up in Baltimore. i figured the boss wouldn't go for it.

  4. I always read these and become so envious of everyone that gets one. I have never received one, but I thought ok I'll go check today. Oh my gosh i have offers. WOO HOO. I think i might have to take 2 cruises this year also. Who can resist a balcony cabin for 7 days at a total of 485.00 with $100.00 on board credit. NOT ME! i'm calling friends now to see who will go with me. I normaly would never go out of Baltimore since it takes so long to get someplace warm, but hey if you go in the summer who cares you are on a ship and it's already warm here.
