I wonder if the California law means that hotels will have to advertise the price including taxes and resort fees and taxes.
If they do business in California they will have too.
I for one like this.

Excellent views. We found the path not too hard, but YMMV.
Did you mean the Sky Bar in Amber Cove?

2 sea days is about as much as I, or more importantly, my wife can handle. We enjoy the lounging around and relaxing, but we we can do that at home.

Do the Firenze. Newer ship and better ports.

The only thing that I found gross on the breakfast buffet were the eggs.

We considered this itinerary for our June cruise, but 8 days and only 3 ports was too many sea days for my wife, so we booked AB + 2 stops in DR. Will be following along.

So, thank you for bringing this up. This is something to consider. Despite having lived here my entire life, I've never been to those ports (Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas). I have only been to Ensenada on the so-called "booze cruises" with friends (and once with the kids, their first and only cruise ... we did not get off at port due to covid restrictions at that time).
Is the water warm and calm at those Mexican ports like in the Caribbean? Are the beaches nice? The beaches and warm water are the draw for the Caribbean, but maybe I'm neglecting a very good different option on this coast.
No, the beaches are not as nice, however, the port cities Mazatlan and PV have so much more to do.

So if the food is disgusting (or even worse) on the other major lines, then that really is a bad portent for the industry.
Or it could a ploy to funnel customers to additional cost restaurants….

The food on RC and NCL isn’t any better.

We had the seafood platter (the one with everything deep fried). We enjoyed it.

We did the tube rafting excursion. It was lots of fun.

Only the Miracle, but when the Firenze shows up….🙈

It is easy to purchase a whale watching tour at the port.

I think Aruba has better beaches than Nassau (which would be on the absolute bottom of my list, for many reasons.
No doubt about it. Most people only know of Junkanoo or Cabbage beach in Nassau. I was just pointing out that if you go off the beaten path you can find nice beaches in Nassau.

Nassau has great beaches (Saunders, etc) but require a longish taxi ride.
Amber Cove is a lazy pool day (unless you book the waterfalls).
Grand Turk has great SCUBA diving and is pretty much a beach (or pool) day.

Bonaire is great for water sports (SCUBA and Snorkeling)
Aruba has great beaches and off roading.

If people did that no one would post on CC.

Very Nice. I see what you did there....

Hilton Riverside is close to the port (and thus the Aquarium) and short walk to Bourbon St. Hilton St. Charles is father away but a historic looking building. I Second looking at Saint Greg's website.

Yup not much there. Just a few stalls selling the same old souvenirs. There is a Starbucks, however I wouldn’t recommend walking to it.
