LAX is terrible.  I would take a later flight. 

The ruins on Cozumel are physically unimpressive, however, culturally they are more important than most of the mainland ruins.  Well worth the visit. Hire a driver for the day.  We visited a tequila and a chocolate factory.

It worked for me, but I wasn’t using any offers 😢

Go to Barcelona. Spend some time in the city (very affordable). While Seattle is nice and Alaska is great, you can visit those place anytime.

Cabo. You can even see them from the cruise ship (and dolphins too).

On my last cruise, I lost $20 playing video poker and was comped a shirt that reeked of cigarette smoke. 

We are doing this cruise in June. So following along. It’s great so far!

Hire a plumeria (a supped up golf cart type vehicle). Tell the driver you want to see the sights and he’ll take you there and other places.

You can do either….your choice. 

Mine is the lack of diversity in the itineraries. 

Fun Ship and Shaq’s Big Chicken (or Guy’s if the ship isn’t blessed with one). 

For your cruise it starts the moment you step on the ship.  It will work while in port (only on the ship of course).

Yes, I too am glad they created an 8 day literary with La Paz. 

Yup. Most bars will make them.  Any Lido Deck bar will make them.  Plus on day one there will be waiters walking around selling them as either Funship or Rum Punch. 

Cabo is very safe especially the port area. 

The food is waaaaaaaay better on Celebrity. Don’t really go to shows so can’t help you there. 

In PV we’ve gone horse back riding, and done tequila tasting (also walked along the Malecon).

in Cabo we just hang out at one of the many bars/restaurants.  We also went off roading many moons ago.

Some place I’ve never been. 

1st and last sea day will most likely be overcast and cold. The ports will be warm and nice.  LA will be pleasant (morning might be cold). 

It was open and walkable in December.

Fun Ship then cucumber sunrise for me. 

Sounds like a fun trip and from my home port. Too bad my work schedule doesn’t jive. Will follow along.

There are some taxis outside the port entrance.  A guy hangs out by the bridge who sells tours.
