I was curious and checked our Panama Channel cruise to see what is available. I do not think I'll be getting anything. The category I booked is now $700 more. I'll check closer to final payment to see if we can get any gratuities or OBC.

my guess is it is xrayed for illegal things and it wont fit through the scanners we put our carryons through
That is what I was afraid of. We always take our carry-ons and valuables with us. I was wondering how they would handle the larger luggage items. This cruise we will be in an ocean view on deck 5 and didn't have to go very far with all our luggage.

I have a question - The last few Princess cruises we have been on we carried off our own luggage (mainly to get to the airport right away). Is there any reason why we cannot carry on our own luggage???
We plan on a cruise in February out of Ft Lauderdale and hoping we could carry on our luggage.

All Bungalows are set up for 4 people. We had 4 lounge chairs. You can have more, but there is an additional charge.

Thanks for the info. Just downloaded the menu for Steamers Seafood, looks like there is a $12.00 cover charge and if you want lobster tail & crab you have to add $10.00.

Was wondering if the Crab Shack is still being offered on the Caribbean Princess?? We tried to do it on our 2015 cruise, but it was full when I went to reserve it. I was wondering if they still have after it was refurbished.

Just received from Princess of a literary change for our Caribbean Princes cruise Feb 26, 2018. So it looks like the problem will not be fixed by then. I was wondering how this will affect the excursions in Panama? We were hoping to go to Panama City.

Just got off the 12/17th cruise. There were no certificates given out. The water entertainment was up and running (kids pool, water slide and flow rider). However, we were in rooms 7288 & 7290, the rooms were never touched. The mattresses were old, floor was very dirty (had to ear shocks and threw them away at the end to the cruise), one sofa had a large stain on it (only one person could sit on it), but the bathrooms were in excellent shape and very clean. We noticed during the cruise they still are upgrading the rooms. One room was getting new carpeting and we show a hallway full of new mattresses.

Those were great until Princess got cheap & eliminated them. :(
To have the same setup on the larger Caribe balconies as on smaller balconies is ridiculous.
Thanks for the info and photos. I thought there were two chairs, but these will be still a lot better than what on a smaller balcony.

Just got off Caribbean yesterday. No lounge chairs on Caribe.
Thanks for the info. Going to miss the lounge chairs this time

No lounge chairs.
Thanks everyone for your input. It has been many years since we sailed on the Caribbean Princess. I believe it was the 2nd or 3rd year it first sailed. The best part were the lounge chairs - we enjoyed sitting on them in the afternoon with a drink and getting ready for dinner.
Thanks again for all of your info...

DW and I will be on the Caribbean Princess and was wondering what the layout of the Caribe Deck balcony will be.
We were on it many years ago and had 2 lounge chairs, 2 chairs, and 1 table. We were wondering if it is the same now.
-
Will be sailing on the Caribbean Princess and will be on the Caribe Deck. We sailed it when it first came on line and was wondering if the balcony layouts are the same, which we enjoyed very much??? I understand that they tried to change it in the past with a lot of protest from passengers.

We did a 1/2 day catamaran cruise with Mystic Man a couple of years ago and everyone (10) had a great time. Many to this day think it was one of the best excursion we have been on. They picked us up at the port, we had a great lunch, swam and snorkeled for a while, and we took a water taxi back to the port.

Was wondering if anyone purchased some Blue Mountain Coffee lately. If so I'd be interested in knowing how much you paid for it. We will be there in March and when we go there we always purchase some of their coffee. This last Xmas we wanted to purchase some Blue Mountain Coffee from a company that roast the beans. If you purchase it from a store it's blended with other coffee. The gal we talked with stated there was just a price increase, it is now $54 per pound . Needlessly to day we did not purchase any, not ever an ounce.

Just checked the bridge cam and it looks like their in Belize now. Must be everything on board has stabilized.

If he can climb Dunn's river, than cave tubing will be a cake walk. As far as butts dragging, a lot more of that has to do with the water level.
I agree with you, it has more to do with the water level. A friend of mine (over 300 lbs) only remark was he felt violated .

If you do go to Franco's studio and get to meet him, and purchase one of his cameo's. Have him sign it. It's pretty neat on how he does it. DW had him do hers and it took us awhile to figure out where and how he did it.
-
We were there a few years ago & I got a nice, larger sized cameo set in 14 kt. gold pendant/pin for $165. Prices have obviously gone up since then. That's a shame.
We were also there two years ago and found the same thing. DW bought a pendant for about the same price. The only thing we found was the setting are not soild gold, but gold filled. We had it reset and DW wears it a lot. Recommend people buy the cameos unset and have them set at home.
Sorry to hear the the inventories were low. When we were there the cases were about full. If this is the beginning of the season they should have a lot of inventory. You have to remember that where you buy the cameos is also the factory. When we were there was only a handful of people. And everything is hand made.

We used them several times. We had no problems and will use them again. One reason we like booking with them is that most of the tours there isn't a large group like you will get on a ship shore excrusions. For example DW, I, and another couple we were cruising with did a horse back riding tour in St Kitts, that went thru the rain forest. There was us and another family for a total of 8 people. They picked us up at the port and drop us off anywhere we wanted.
Hope this helps...
Please Any TIPS on power scooters on Ships?.
