Their system is antiquated. As much as they have developed new state-of-the-art cruise ships, their booking technology is horrible.

I love Adventure! I sailed her almost a year ago and I have another cruise planned for July. Her crew was amazing! I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, but she has quite a few. I think Royal does a good job of updating their older ships.

I walked in and got a cookie one afternoon. There were a couple of tables of people in there. I didn't got back during busy times so I'm not sure how crazy it was. I was sailing Dec. 31-Jan. 4. I am Diamond+ sailing with Diamond (daughter) and we were not given anything in our room that said access would be limited or anything.

You don't have a reservation time, it's just a reservation for a 3-night package. When you board, go to any of the specialty restaurants and you can make all 3 of your reservations then.

If you truly do not care where your cabin is on the ship, let Royal pick it. If it matters what deck, view, elevator proximity what’s above or below your deck, or any other thing, select it yourself.
I select my cabin 99% of the time. The few times I have let Royal pick were fine but I’m not picky and don’t spend a lot of time in my cabin.
I see a lot of posts from people who take the guaranteed cabin rate then complain when they get their assignment. So if you think you would be disappointed with any particular area of the ship, don’t book the guaranteed stateroom.

I love the frozen mojitos! They are best by the pool because they are light and refreshing!

When did they offer this, was this pre-covid? Do you have to book in the advance on the cruise planner, or was it only available onboard?
@teddybear231 and @HappyTexan44I did it in January of this year. It may have been called a Cocktail Seminar. They offered two during the trip on both sea days. It was so fun. I was on Allure in March and they did not offer it.

That stinks for them!
My kids status is what mine was at the time they turned 18. My daughter kept Diamond status but she has since had enough of her own points to be Diamond on her own. I made it to Diamond + when my son turned 18. He is Diamond on his own but he does get the + perks which makes his older sister mad since she’s 22 and he’s 19 and he gets one more drink than she does and he’s not of legal age. It makes him very happy.

Limited menu due to brands but you can still start using your package.

I have done lunch at Chops on boarding day on Adventure twice and I love starting out my cruise this way! It wasn't an option on Allure and I don't see it as an option for my next couple of cruises on Radiance or Voyager. But I'm going to keep checking back.

Last week, we had Darrell J. Williams as a headliner. He's a Grammy award winner and he's got a phenomenal voice. Also we had a magician named Hector who was great. Lester Bibbs was one of the comedians. I've seen him on Allure before and he's really funny. I know they normally have them booked for a few weeks so this could change. Mamma Mia, ice show and Oceanaria all will stay the same. They did the Love and Marriage game one afternoon. They also did Quest one night. All the typical games like Battle of the Sexes and Finish the Lyric were offered.
I was on last week.

Just off Allure and I thought the food in the MDR was really good. I enjoyed everything I had as did my family and friends. We were in MDR 4 times because 3 nights we had specialty dining package. We missed Mexican Night, Italian Night and the Welcome Aboard night.
Food is so subjective but we were happy.
Table favorites were:
French Night
Escargots
Baked French Onion Soup
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Classic Beef Bourguignon
Creme Brulee
Not fond of Toasted Almond Profiteroles
Caribbean Night
Coconut Shrimp
Classic Caesar Salad
Garlic Herb Tiger Shrimp
New York Strip Steak
Royal Chocolate Cake
Pineapple Sunshine Cake (cake part kind of dry but pineapple and icing good)
Royal Night
Baked French Onion Soup
Chilled Shrimp Cocktail
Lemon Butter Baked Cod
Lobster
New York Strip
Baked Alaska
Warm Chocolate Cake
Red Velvet Cake
Bon Voyage Night
Mediterannean Tapas Medley
Classic Caesar Salad
Braised Lamb
Pecan Crusted Salmon
Spaghetti Bolognese
Dark Chocolate Brownie
Warm Apple Cobbler

I can confirm the drinks are up-to-date on the app. If you like cool, refreshing drinks, Boleros makes an awesome Mojito Frappe!

I think Advenure is a great ship with a friendly crew. I sailed her twice in 10 months, the most recent last month.
* I like this class of ship because of the promenade but it's not overly huge like Oasis class.
* I enjoy the solarium cushy chairs and to be away from the louder music by the main pool.
* I though the mixology class was super fun and worth the $26.99 fee. We got 5 small drinks plus if you volunteered to read, you got a tequila shot and if you volunteered to make the drink you got the large drink. So fun!
* I think Viking Crown Lounge has great views for sailaway.
* The production shows were good.
* I love that purchasing lunch in Chops for embarkation day is an option. It provides a less chaotic start than in the Windjammer for lunch.
People complain tha tthe beds are hard but my bed had a mattress topper on it so no complaints from me. I have no complaints or any other things to beware of. I would definitely sail Adventure again.

Some of our group had early board and some had an hour later. They told us we could all board at the later time but the ones later could not board earlier. That was at the Ft. Lauderdale port.

We always book independently with Nachi Cocom beach club while in Cozumel. It's about a 15 minute ride to their from the port. It's always very clean, the employees are very nice and the food is excellent. You let your server know what time you wish to go back and they will call a taxi for you to return.
There are some sloth and monkey excursions in Roatan that I noticed on Royal's excursion pages. We have also gone to Maya Key in Roatan through a ship's excursion. There is the beach, a pool, animal habitats (we got to interact and hold a monkey). There is a buffet included that is wonderful.
I have never booked an excursion in Costa Maya. We normally hang around the pool area at the port and enjoy guacamole and margaritas.
Have fun sailing again!

I ate my fair share of them on Adventure in March!

We picked towels after my husband called a month ago and requested. We are going on the Adventure at the end of the month. I'm wondering if we actually get them.
I was on Adventure last month and got a towel. I'm guessing they will give them out as long as supplies last.

There was lobster on a 5-night cruise in Feb. on Adventure.

I sailed on Enchantment in July 2019 and I loved her. I have sailed larger ships with more bells and whistles, but those typically are enjoyed more by my kids. I truly enjoy the smaller ship. There is a nice solarium, the dining room is beautiful, piano playing in the Schooner at night were so much fun. Besides headliners, the singers and dancers may have done 2 production numbers since it was a 5-day. I always enjoy those.

The Diamond Plus bogo is normally for the first or second night.

Have you tried flushing out your nose with saline? Maybe there are some old cells up there. Just a thought.

I was on Adventure a few weeks ago but it wasn't offered.
Hideaway Beach at Coco Cay...relaxing or is it rocking with loud DJ music?

I'm trying to see the vibe at Hideaway Beach? I'm more into relaxating and it seems to be promoted as high energy. Anyone been yet? I'm not even sure if it's open. I go in July.
