  1. And that folks; is a lesson on how to cruise on carnival for “free”.
  2. So I bought $10,000 worth of gift cards for $9000 from AARP. I load $2000 per day to my Sail&Sign (that’s the max allowed) I then go to the casino and “download” $2000 to my “casino bank”, from my Sail&Sign card. Then I play exactly 800 spins at $2.50 per spin (the machine keeps track of this by displaying “points”; you earn 1 “point” per $2.50 spin) the “expected loss” per $1000 of spins on a slot machine is 10%. So, in essence, I’m playing slots “for free”; but the real reason I’m doing it is to earn casino points (“for free”) to keep getting “free” cruises (I use quotes, because you have to pay $100 per person plus all the taxes/fees/gratuities) Like, this cruise right now was a “free” cruise; but out of pocket it cost $599. (Taxes/fees/Gratuites) for two people. If I didn’t care anything about the casino “offers” I could actually just “wash” the money through an earn $1000 on my $10,000 investment. (Which, depending on what my final tally is at the end; I may do from now on) NOW; if I had a second person with me; (I paid for two people because there’s no discount as a “solo”) they could do the same thing and technically you could make a max of $2500 (the gift cards max out at $12,500 per person per month) Its like the same type of gamification as Credit Card Churners..except for cruisers haha. however if EVERYBODY did this; obviously they couldn’t offer it.
  3. Just chillin on my balcony for a while now; it’s absolutely perfect outside.
  4. So the second $2000 wash went better than the first (I had a $800 bonus) but still felt short of the math; at $1701. Out of $4000 coin-in I’ve got a return of $3256 (EV is $3600) however if these machines are set to a lower payback than normal (I’d almost say they are) then EV shrinks to only $3400) so I guess if I just figure them at 85% EV, then I’m doing OK.
  5. That’s such a nice thing to do for your grand children.
  6. lol; I like their stock photo from 2008. Good Old iPhone 3G
  7. Man heck yes! I just looked at the port schedules. Grand Turk - Only us and the Freedom Nassau - Only us and the Enchanted Princess That’s SUPER clutch to not have the ports just absolutely SWAMPED with people. (Especially for Nassau! Only TWO SHIPS!) I didn’t look at Amber Cove; because I may/may not get off the ship.
  8. For those wondering what those are with the omelette..those are the “brunch potatoes”..as I wanted something a “little” bit healthier than fried potatoes or instant grits. They were actually pretty good; they had a tomato sauce on them.
  9. Breakfast pictures. just loaded up another $2000 worth of gift cards (four of them; freaking kiosk is slooow; took five minutes..but i guess $200 for five minutes of work is pretty good haha) heading to Fun Ashore Fun Aboard show now
  10. Thanks! yep; “extended” balcony, I’ll DM you my cabin number. So you can see exact location. I’ve been in this room before, just on deck 10. Nothing gets put on your card (I see you’re an OG cruiser if you remember the stickers that went on the cards; I remember those too). The system just “knows” you have DOU (everywhere) via your S&S card. So I “reserved” the chair/umbrella at Jacks by sending them a message using Facebook messenger…however I ended up booking HomeSweetHome excursion based on others glowing reviews.
  11. lol; that’s the short version at least. and thanks for remembering my position in life, it helps to know folks are interested. 🙂
  12. Thank you. Yes, considering where I came from (absolutely eating trash food). But I FEEL way better. It’s not a diet, it’s a complete mindset change of how you eat. (When you know, you can make better choices 🙂
  13. So I got up early to go and walk the track…put in my mile. (It’s super nice up there, a nice little breeze to keep you cool) now I’m going to get cleaned up and go to Seaday Brunch. picture from my balcony..not a worry in the world (inside of ship life; at least)
  14. it’s a long story..but basically she chose a poverty/financially-stupid mindset over life with me. (Think maxing out credit cards and paying minimums, rolling over huge negative equity to always have a “new” car {because they absolutely trash them like a pig sty}) I don’t need that negative influence in my life. (And I honestly don’t think ANYONE does..but if those type of people didn’t live like that; then how would the rest of know what financially stupid looks like?)
  15. Yikes! on the first $2000 play through I only returned $1555.10. That’s horrible (EV was $1800) hopefully I’ll have some better luck tommorow and the rest of this week!
  16. Sorry, was too good. As your CruiseBOT I should have done better. So it shall be.
  17. I paired a glass of Pinot Noir with my Salmon; it was so good I totally forgot to take pictures, haha.
  18. Let me know if you have any specific requests; I am the CruiseBOT.
  19. So the slot pull was a bust..everybody put in $20 and the biggest hit was someone hit $63 (he won the $120 sidepot); we all ended up getting back $7 😛 I hopped on a dragon link to spin some spins. Got through 201 points with so far a $2 profit. (Still got 599 more spins to go today) Having dinner at the MDR (Festivale) I think I’m going to order the: Cesar Salad, Wild Rice and Gruyère Soup, and the BBQ Salmon (Emerils special tonight)
  20. Thanks! (On both parts) im only doing these slot pulls for fun; the “washing” of the $10,000 is to keep getting “free” cruises on the cheap.
  21. lol this is honestly the first ever “cocktail” I’ve ever got in a plastic cup hahah
  22. We’ll; I was already at Bar-820 (outside) so I just ordered a woodford manhattan (no cherries) first drink of the cruise!
