In other news..I forgot my damn deodorant! So I have to go to the sundries shop and get some. Also; I wore shorts today..but up here in the buffet I’m freezing my coconuts off! may have to go back to the room and either put on my hoodie or pants

Doh! I didn’t even walk further back at the buffet to see if the back part was open (usually where dinner is served) my surprise when it was! But that’s fine; I got a good plate (living in northern Mexico, we’ve got great Mexican food at home and get used to eating it)

I’ve tried an eye mask before..just can’t take sleeping with something on my face.

I dug myself the whole playing 25c TriplePlay UltimateX; then I stepped up to 50c to dig out. Also; they must not go on coin-in, just straight points alone..because 4000 points seems to be the number where a “host” will ask you if you want a free specialty dinner (saw another gal playing slots and get the “tap on the shoulder” when she was just above 4000.) even though on slots 4000 points is only $10,000 coin-in, and on video poker it’s $20,000. (But I guess slots edge is 10% where vp is 5%..so same same)

So; I gotta say..these beds are way different than the other Royal class beds..these are more like carnival beds, where the other Royal class ships beds I’ve literally SANK into (I like a soft mattress) I also just realized, with a balcony you can NOT sleep in (waking here up at 11)..we tried an interior on the last cruise (only because we used both our casino offers to put my cousin and his parents in balconies; so they bought us an interior..I wanted them to all go on a cruise as cheap as possible) and I gotta say, it’s BLACK in an interior (which I now realize, I really like for sleeping in) Like @sonomaphil said; the motion was rocking last night..however I guess I don’t find it TOO bad; it’s just the moving around part that’s fun (“sea legs” haha) no real plans for today, other than maybe hit up some trivia’s and the Yes/No gameshow tonight. I’d also like to hit the PES lounge just to see what’s up. if you see me around the ship; say hi. (My shirts will make it obvious it’s me)

UltimateX video poker sorry for radio silence..got dirty in the casino.. dug myself A big hole ($3000) but battled back to only $1000 down..but my machine was hot so I gave it another $500 to make sure. SO many dealt trips that could have connected to be handpays (I was playing $15 a spin). So when the smoke cleared I’m down $1500 but earned 4000 points so far and the host gave me a comp for Catch on Monday… lol even she asked me “I see Krista is in your room; for two right?” I said NOO she’s NOT ON THE SHIP! So only for one. back in the room ordering some soup and salad from room service.. I also dunno if I’m going to be able to take this room location..it’s MOTION LIKE CRAZY! Like I will NEVER bid again to risk this. Going to eat my soup and salad and watch equalizer 3 (been wanting to see it) and sleeeeeeep in tommorow!

In booze news..the pool bar (by the grille on lido) had a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel..I haven’t really seen woodford anywhere yet..but I would imagine they have it. (If not, I did see buffalo trace)

Sorry for the first pic..I ate the shrimp before I remembered to take a picture lol i got the “garlic prawns” for my appetizer and a Cesar’s salad. Grilled Mahi-Mahi for main.. the “garlic prawns” were just the shrimp cocktail with some garlic sauce on them with some tomato’s

Ahhhh I think that’s what I had it confused with..the “concierge” lounge. I’m a first-time platinum, so..just learning to “be cool”. I’ll definitely stop by the PES lounge tommorow..I was hoping they had cocktail shrimp..yes, I’m that guy, haha.

lol I literally waited a SOLID THIRTY MINUTES for them to resolves my issues..but they got it all taken care of. my $250 freeplay turned into $467 (which they had to hand-pay me, lol) then I moved over machines and put in $100 bill (that they gave me) and ran it up to $641..I’d of played more; but dinner ressie at 7pm, so had to run to Juneau MDR. while waiting those 30 minutes; I got my first drink of the cruise! Blended margarita; it was gooood

Apparently a no-show literally wreaks havoc..went to play in the casino a little..went to cash out..machine locked up..stuck at “processing cashout” casino attendant and manager came and said “where is your wife??” And I said “no show, not on the ship” and this LITERALLY blew their mind. Apparently she’s still showing up all over all their si systems..and we have the same folio number (even the manager is like “I do not know how that’s even POSSIBLE”) odd that they did a passenger manifest and somehow she’s STILL Showing

Dawhut!? I thought cocktails in the PEL were free!? what finger foods did they have? I missed todays session

So I think I’m going to go dark until tommorow i cant get plus for $60..and may NOT be able to with my wife being a “no show” (because the system still has two people in my cabin and wants to charge $120 a day)

So it’s 200% confirmed it’s JUST San Pedro that has a problem with fans. like I said in 2019 shoreside staff made a big scene; so I said “let the ship decide” and ship security gave it back to me no problem this time (feb2024) I checked my fan; as to “bypass” San Pedro shoreside fools nope; SHIP security said NO FANS! I said “show me the policy!” And they said “ohh wel it has to be checked out by our electrian” (after I said I need this for MEDICAL reasons, to SLEEP..it’s either a fan or I wear a CPAP) so they said “we’ll have it checked out and let you know”…about 15 minutes later “Ok Mr. timotee your fan is OK” like I said, I’ve sailed carnival, princess..platinum on BOTH lines and the ONLY port that has a boner for fans is San Pedro. in a funny story, on the carnival legend back in the day..I unplugged the old tube TV; and plugged my fan in..that outlet actually smoked my fan because apprenrly it was a 110v…but the amps were only like 2amps (instead of a typical 110v outlet being 15amps)
