@thehowlingroad how was the bus tour in Haugesund? would you recommend something else?

We are on the Apex now. At first the captain announcements are stating the number of cases, and now lately he simply says there are additional cases without giving exact numbers. Also want to give kudos to guest relations for being transparent when we call to ask about the number of cases on board.

Your travel agent should not need to provide any such "proof". He/she should be willing to go up the chain of command to advocate for you. As with all other issues, the answers you get really depend on to whom you are speaking to on the other end of the line. It seems very strange that an X rep would even ask for proof of a similar example. I was able to shift three reservations from an 8 day to a 9 day (different itinery, same ship, same week). But it took over three hours, going up the chain; phone rep, to supervisor, to resolutions, to group project coordinator. Then I waited three days, did not receive an answer, called back (another hour) and got the go-ahead. Your TA needs to be willing to go the extra mile for you. Even then, the results may be different. Good luck! These are unprecedented times.
Thanks for your input. I understand what my TA should do. That post is quite old now and My TA was able to resolve my issues. Was simply looking for more ammo to take to the fight.

You should provide an email address so they could contact you privately. Nobody should post their booking number here.

Third time is the charm. I called my TA to cancel my October cruise since there wasn’t an equivalent cruise next year. This time he got my 11 day moved to a 12 day with no added dollars for the extra day. We are happy since we had quite a bit of onboard credit and 4 perks that we were able to keep.
Sent from my iPad using Forums@sn2792 sorry to to ask for this but, I'm trying to do a lift and shift similar to yours, and my travel agent is saying if I can help him provide proof such as a confirmation number of another guest who has gone from 11 day to 12 day with similar itinerary he could help me out with my reservation (saying celebrity is making more expectations now). If you are willing to provide a booking number I would appreciate it. I understand if not.
Thanks

This was copied from the above link: It will debut with a Northern Europe mini season followed by a summer in the Mediterranean and a winter season of week-long Caribbean sailings.
Thank you, however, I believe that was referring to the Celebrity Apex not the Celebrity Beyond

I know they bounce around from ship to ship, but generally speaking, does Celebrity put their newest crew members on the oldest ships? Seems like when we were on the Edge we encountered a lot more experienced crew members.
-
Anyone hear rumors on where Celebrity Beyond will be deployed when it's ready. I'm assuming a TA to the Caribbean since its schedule to come out in the fall.
-
Any idea when the bookings will open up?

When will bookings open up for Celebrity Beyond?
-
are there any details on what the promotion will be?
-
Does anyone know if the future cruise desk is generally open on embarkation day?
-
What is the reduced deposit amount for a suite when you book onboard?
-
Is it safe to assume that menu 1 is served on the 1st night of each sailing? Or could it change?
-
Can't wait to hear all about it!

Is AQ worth $300pp more than inside cabin? Jw if its worth the value. Don't see any regular veranda available on the sailing I'm looking at
-
What is your sail date?
-
Don't see a sale for any of my sailings yet
-
When is your sailing? When this happened to me I had to wait a few days before they updated online

Here is a link to one of those threads

I've never seen the option to upgrade via the cruise planner. But yes, you can easily upgrade on board. When we sailed the summit Oct. 20, they were offering two bottles of wine per person to upgrade from classic to premium.
If you have the classic package and the upgrade option isn't showing for you in the cruise planner, you will have to call celebrity and ask them to add it so that it shows in the cruise planner. I just had to do it for my upcoming cruise...fairly annoying.
-
Yes one person can do it. You can either purchase the upgrade in the cruise planner on the celebrity website or visit any of the bars once you are in board. The price is $10 per day plus gratuity. So $12 per day

The chicken wings on the edge at roof top grill offer dry rub and spicy buffalo wings which are great

I am on the beyond now and was told by the future cruise desk that the Europe 2024 sailing release is delayed until after the Caribbean/Canada/Bermuda
