Since Walgreens has added wording to their site something to the effect that “you may incur a charge,” has anyone tested at Walgreens and been charged? We are over 65 and on Medicare. I have tried to search whether Medicare is continuing to pay for covid testing. Have not found anything definitive.

I think if you do not mention travel as the reason for your testing, it will be covered.  Testing for travel is no longer covered by Medicare.

Thank you for your opinion.  Unfortunately countries such as Canada require testing preloading.  The consequence of noncompliance is either the passenger cannot board or the ship cannot call on a port in that country.

Maybe I missed it but I have not seen where Canada requires testing. The ArriveCan form only requires vaccinations.

Discovered I need a new suitcase for my upcoming cruise.  My last cruise was over 10 years ago.  Then, they stacked a ton of suitcases on a cart so high, many cases on the bottom (including mine) had parts get crushed and cracked.  Should I avoid a hard shell for this purpose?  Are they still destroying bags?  Any suggestions for a solid suitcase that won't cost the price of a cruise?

We’ve been on 20+ cruises and never had a suitcase damaged. Accidents occasionally happen.

I would rather no one be able to get Covid19 while cruising, So until that happens, keep the testing going.  I was vaccinated and booster twice but still got Covid, along with my wife, on our recent Alaskan cruise (June 13 - 20).

Let me understand, we should do exactly what you and your wife did…..despite you both catching Covid?

Hope you both recovered quickly and are feeling good again
