Good. The last thing I want on my vacation is to be bombarded by the smell of cigarettes. It does suck for smokers though I guess.

I'm not loyal to one cruise line in particular, if I see a good deal on an interesting ship/itinerary, I'd take it regardless of line. That being said, as long as NCL has good deals for solo travelers and offers good itineraries from New York, it'll probably be the first place I look.

I won't be on the Breakaway until Feb. 2026, so I hope they'll have a replacement by then, I would've really liked to see Six. Seems odd that they would stop running a show without any plan to replace it.

That’s good to hear. It’s not something I’ve heard many complaints about in reviews, so I figured it probably wouldn’t be too much of a problem, but it’s good to get confirmation.

I recently booked an 11-night cruise on MSC Meraviglia out of New York for next year. The price was fantastic and I think the ship looks stunning, but something I’ve read recently concerns me. Apparently you can smoke on one whole side of the pool deck, which is concerning as someone who cannot stand the scent of it. I have no issues with smokers, do whatever you want, but I’m concerned that smoke smell will be everywhere on the pool deck and I won’t be able to sit out there comfortably. I know you can smoke in the casino too, but I don’t gamble so I don’t think that will be an issue. Is the smoke situation really bad, or is it not something I’m likely to notice?

Are they actually renaming them? They claim that they are, but all the mock-ups I've seen, even with the new livery, still say Costa Venezia on the side of the ship. I guess it's just an error, but this whole thing is bizarre.
