First HAL cruise fast approaching and I like a crazy person can't stop checking the boards for advice and comments about the ship/itinerary. I watched another youtube video (have to stop doing that!) from a couple that just recently got off the ship and in a nutshell, they did not have good things to say. They didn't like the HIA package in regards to drinks (15 drinks max, drinks priced over the max amount), complained the casino was too small or was not open at times due to crew shortage, poor entertainment and food shortage (this one really shocked me, does that happen on HAL?) At the end it seems like they had more dislikes than likes which was sad 😞 This will be my 3rd cruise, 1st with Disney (Wonder to Alaska) and 2nd RCL Harmony of the Seas (Eastern Caribbean) Thanks and happy cruising everyone!

From my past experience and understanding, the name on the boarding pass has to match the passport name/government ID like at the airport. I would reach out to HAL for confirmation and peace of mind. Thank you and happy cruising!

I was not asked to choose a boarding time? I’m all checked in as I could print our boarding passes so did I miss a step? Can I still choose one?

Quick question, when does HAL assign check in times? We are sailing out of Vancouver 9/2 and our boarding passes do not have a time.

I just watched a YouTube video that was posted today and i wish i didn't...it was showing step by step the embarkation process in Vancouver, in this case the Volendam. Not sure if i can post the link here but in a nut shell, from the video, it's quite the process. So much walking/waiting which I am worried about as a person in my party has mobility issues. HI AllWe pulled the trigger and booked Allstar Movies night before our cruise and added Disney Transportation to the port. From what i understand, your luggage will be picked up from your room early in the morning and you meet in the lobby to catch the bus. Question is do you have to pre-register or are you automatically registered as you are staying at a WDW resort? Example if you stay at the Hyatt i heard you have to register in the morning of to catch the bus. Is it the same procedure?Thanks again and happy cruising everyone!

We just added Club Orange to our booking yesterday on the Koningsdam. Looking forward to it.

We live in Vancouver and always hear about the embarkation nightmares and long lines. We added Club Orange to our booking yesterday so hoping that will help us with our Alaska cruise in September. Fingers crossed. I just don't understand why the Vancouver Port Authority does not do anything to improve as this has been going on for years.....

Hi, we are booked September on the Koningsdam out of Vancouver. When we booked, we didn't get a choice of dining time and got the opening dining option. there are 5 of us in our party. I'm thinking that means a lot of wait time to get a table? Is that a correct assumption? Any comments/advice? Thank you so much in advance. Happy Cruising everyone!!

Hi there, any comments/advice on this stateroom? Not much on the internet about this room except for the standard description/location etc. We have 3 adults in our party. Is the sofa bed comfy? Very excited about this cruise, taking my parents on their first one.
