That's it...you are going to have to run a group trip which will include photos! I bet a few of us viewers would love to do that one. I will stick to the bears and leave the fish alone. Let's just say bad older brother experience post fishing trip...Ohhh brothers;) Not in 2013 since we are already booked and I don't think the DH will be talked into a longer trip.:D

I agree Kathy about the picture taking ability as I am the worse going in that category between the half sideways and headless bodies even with the view finder I am horrible with a camera! Thank goodness for these pictures!

Despite my constant fear of dying in midair of screaming leg cramp pain, I kept checking out the views between the clouds of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains as we headed SW towards Katmai.

I would love to see the pictures as well. Patiently waiting. One question -- do they substitute foods with those with an allergy (example - shell fish?)

Posh is the Haven private sun deck. It is open for about 20 non-suite guests per cruise at a fee. I have never sailed on the Epic, but I have read it is well worth the money. We plan on spending loads of time there in January on the cruise.

 

You may want to board as early as you can and head to guest services and get passes unless you are in a suite. All suites on the Epic have access.

The Posh pass is worth the money. We had lunch and snacks up there and there is a bar open just for that area. From being "spritzed" with water when we were hot to the exceptional customer service it was fantastic. Guest Services keys your card for entrance so the band is not nessecary. We took our bands along the first day or two in case there were questions and no one ever asked about it. You do not have access to the suite pool area only the two level outside deck.

Sorry you missed out on Posh last time. We purchased our bands at the front desk. It was worth every cent. In fact the DH spent more time there than I did since I enjoyed the spa amenities and he was the one who said are you sure it is worth it. Hope you have better luck this time.

We stayed in 14129 with a great view. The lifeboats are way below you.

It would be great if they offered a $25 laundry bag day early in the week or at least a nice coupon. Like you Mike the DH and me will just bring twice the amount of clothes and pack the whole dirty mess. American Airlines will be happy woth the extra bag $$$.;)

I am always tempted but then at the last minute the DH and I say it's 2 more days and we will be home. I wish they offered something early in the week for those of us that are land/sea travelers. Alas that is why we end up with so many bags! LOL

I am curious also as we are spending a week in Miami pre-cruise and I do not feel like doing laundry when I could be at the pool. ;)

Lusitanica, I tired hard to figure out where our cabin was located based on the many responses you gave others. I finally gave up! It at first appeared we had a balcony on a bump out and then in another picture I figured I was crazy. :eek: We will be in cabin 14129. Can you help us out? And thanks a bunch what a lot of work this must be but I sure appreciate it. :D
