On to Monday morning.

Let me be frank (I am Jim, but I digress). This team was going full out. None of it was their fault. Me and the hotel director have a discussion coming in the future.

Wish she had done that earlier. She told us their Were 6400 people on board, 1700 first timers, all good info and 100% not our problem.

After dinner the head waitress came over and apologized.

8:55 our food came.

8:40 we got our apps. Some at our table asked if we could order drinks. They took the drink orders (which came very quickly).

Other tables around us gor their desserts

Our other table got their meals.

8:25 we got our bread. 50 minutes.

Couple minutes later one of the assistant ding staff came over and took our orders. 33 minutes

8:15 our other table got their apps. One of our group mentioned we were waiting.

8:10, other tables (not our other table) got their meals. No orders taken, no bread.

8:05 came and went. 20 minutes, no bread, no orders taken.

8:00 came and went.

Our other table had their dinner orders taken.

Last night, the opposite was the case. We were seated at 7:45 (our assigned time), got some water and we linked the menu from our phones to pick what we wanted. We knew this was first cruise elegant night and while there are many dining options on the MG, this would probably be the busiest night.
