  1. No issues, other than having 4 workers checking in 4,000 people.
  2. Over 100% full. It was a school vacation week.
  3. I was on that cruise and it was a nightmare. I actually contested the charge and Amex fully refunded it, which I wasn’t anticipating.
  4. It took us 6 hours to board Getaway there in April. Never again.
  5. Update: Boarded today and was not upgraded from my JS.
  6. That’s pretty much what I’d assumed. Thanks.
  7. Has anyone received this email in the past? What was your final result- were you upgraded?
  8. Any update on this? I received the same email today.
  9. Fair point on the coffee vs non, but both were BBA. I’d call Dragons Milk a macro BBA stout. I can’t think of one that’s more readily available. I’m open to a suggestion if you know of one. That said, it wasn’t the coffee that was the major factor, it was the mouthfeel and flavor intensity. Dragon was thin and watery, whereas DS was jam-packed with flavor and more unctuous. You neglected to comment on the IPA.
  10. Tilted is solid, though. So you’re lucky, too. There’s a dearth of excellent craft in New England.
  11. I always have one (just one, as I don’t love sweet drinks) and it’s always delicious. 😃
  12. Tried it last night with a Trillium Blue Hill and a Sam Adams Wicked Hazy. Easy peasy. Same with Dragon’s Milk stout and Tree House Double Shot. Glaringly obvious. I’m confident in my assertion.
  13. But have you done it to a certified sommelier? My palate is pretty spot-on. But keep insisting strangers can’t do things because people you know can’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  14. I’ll still disagree. If you gave me a macro IIPA and a quality micro, I’d be able to tell in a second. It’s even more pronounced in stouts.
  15. While it certainly depends upon which beers you select, I very likely could. But I have a professionally trained palate to do so. I’ve done loads of blind and double-blind tastings.
  16. It’s very, very unlikely you’ll board anywhere near 10:00AM.
  17. Do you think that’s still the case if the ship you’re sailing doesn’t offer Star class?
  18. I’m also an IPA drinker, although I love sours and stouts, too. I’ll tolerate a Newcastle on the ship, but mostly stick to cocktails.
  19. The only negative about that is the the first and last two days of your trip are cold.
