Realize that the new soda policy expects the customer to carry on the beverages. You might be OK, but may end up in the naughty room to collect your luggage.

I will email special needs and ask A) if allowed and B) should I carry on or if it’s ok to put in luggage

While you may not have issues once the containers are on board, if you go through the terminal security line with them in your carry on, they may questions them there - they don't work for RCI.

I was only going to carry 1 in my carry on and the others in my suit case checked. That way any issue in security I will drink it right on spot. Since they are 11oz, not allowed in carry on in airports. Thanks for heads up tho

Rule says only 12 containers of non-alcoholic beverages in carry-on.  Your experience may vary.

I’m going to call RCI, because it’s something I need for medical reasons. I even carry a doctors note when flying so I don’t have issues. Thanks

Never heard of this. Have you been able to do this in the past? I still think everyone would have to buy.  I have thought about trying this. Maybe I'll see what they say on my next cruise.

Did it on my last cruise on the Harmony. It was our first cruise and we thought everyone had to have a drink package. So when we got on board and I bought my first piña colada for $13, I decided to get a booze package. Went to the people on the Promenade and told them my parents don’t drink pop except when they eat so they cancelled their drink package and applied that cost to my booze.

Checking drink package prices is like a game of Royal Roulette...it's like Russian Roulette but safer.

I’m going to check around Black Friday and cyber Monday in November. I also might just bite the bullet and buy on board since my husband and mother don’t drink and I won’t be forced to buy them a package if u buy on ship

  6. This will be my second cruise ever, this time I booked Balcony GTY. The price was huge savings. This being my second cruise ever didn’t realize you could get a crappy view. After reading these forums I’ve realized this. I also figure I only basically sleep and get ready in my room, so I’m not stressing. I have hopes tho that we may get a decent one. I only booked my cruise in June for March 2019. Still no deck or room assignment.

Med cruises tend to be port intensive with minimal sea days.  As well, and dependent on the itinerary, the port hours are pretty long.  You will also probably be doing a lot of excursions that may go on for 6-8 hours.  Once you have had dinner and maybe a show you will be ready for bed.  Not a lot of time to enjoy a suite.  I would book a balcony and spend the difference on great excursions.

    Great advice, thanks

We were on Harmony in May, and none of the HDMI ports worked. Unlike Oasis, which feeds the TV signal through an HDMI connection, Harmony feeds the TV signals through what looks like a Cat 5 connection instead of through either Coax or HDMI, and we were unable to connect anything. Ended up watching our stuff directly from the iPad.

Thanks for the info, I will be downloading things to my iPad.

  9. I’ve only been on Harmony Of The Seas. Next year I’m on Harmony & Allure.

i really enjoyed the food. I didn’t do specialty dinning. We mostly ate Windjammer, due to the selection available for my dietary needs. Lots to choose from. I do not have any complaints. Love the Coney Island hot dog at the Hotdog house. Sorrento’s pizza, amazing and the banana bread at Cafe Promenade just like Grandma made.
