Good luck! Silverseas told us we could cancel but we would lose our $17,600 fare…

Instead, we’re going to Santorini and Rhodes (for the third time!).

So we got an update from Silverseas: No Aqaba, Sharm El-Sheik, Luxor nor Petra. Disappointing but better safe than sorry…

I’m having trouble understanding why Silversea is not cancelling its cruises going through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea. The US has destroyers in the northern Red Sea shooting down missiles and drones aimed at Israel. USS Carney shot down 15 drones and 4 missiles during 9-hour time span in Northern Red Sea What am I missing?

Excellent point. Reason I asked is that we are on Silverseas going to Egypt, SA, and Petra and my better half is concerned that Petra may be eliminated from the itinerary which is the primary reason we booked this cruise.

What port(s) did they add? Is Aqaba(Petra) one of them?

Does anyone know if Acaba (Petra) port is affected?
