    Did you book tour through Cruise Line or on your own? How far in advance did you book this tour? How many people do they take on boat? Any other info you can provide would be appreciated!

  4. In looking at a book I received “The 2022 official Vistors Guide” Juneau Alaska, show only two companies do helicopters dogsled tours; Temsco and Costal. I believe the Cruise Lines use both. If the two companies have cancelled, I would almost be assured that the cruise line will cancel. I was told months ago by both companies basically, if the snow disappears the sled tours no longer run. I had originally book our cruise in late September for my husband’s birthday 2023, and noticed there were no sled tours. This was because no snow confirmed both companies I changed our sailing to May. I am hopeful that we will get to go as this was my husbands favorite excursion. The latest they generally schedule is the first week in September .
  5. It is just strange! I know it’s early, but Icy Strait is only port with absolutely nothing!
  6. Does Celebrity offer excursions in Icy Straits? At this point for our sailing May 2023. this is the only port which there are no offerings.
  7. We are doing a tour offered by Celebrity that goes outside of Vancouver to a falls and then transfer us to airport.

  9. I have been reading in reviews that the non surge charging strip like the photo below has been confiscated by cruise lines. It has also been stated that the only charging adapters permitted are ones with USB ports only. Does anyone have knowledge on what is permitted? I need to purchase as we have “Many” devices that need to be charged, and do not want to have it confiscated on embarkation.

  14. I have emailed shore excursions about an excursion I want to book on Celebrities website. I wanted some details that were not addressed. I am awaiting an answer to that email which was sent days ago.
  15. What is the normal time before you get a response? I have been waiting several days for an answer and would like to book this excursion but have had NO response.

  17. I had the same experience yesterday afternoon. I had an excursion question which could have been easily resolved on their site if the description where more complete. Unfortunately the customer service rep also could not answer and had me email ShoreX.
  18. Thanks for your reply. I sure do not want a voucher for the bus or train that we would have to juggle getting on and off with two 50 lb bags plus carry on. We have spent time in Vancouver on prior trips.

  22. Questions about Sky Experience /Shannon Falls excursion or the Vancouver Sightseeing excursion on the day of cruise departure. Do you go directly from the excursion to the airport with your luggage? I noted in reading that on the Hop Off and On excursion, it says you need to pick up your luggage and then take the train. Would welcome any information about these tours!
  23. I have been told my someone in the know the following: They layoff or let go seasoned workers during Covid. They now are hiring green horns with no experience and very little training. When anyone calls often the new hire does no know answer so then you go on hold until the new hire can find a supervisor who may or may not know the correct answer. I am cruising with a group of 13 over NYE and one of are group has spent over five hours trying to sort out dinner reservations with still no resolution. I was told the best thing is to be accept the situation and be nice to the Celebrity rep no matter how stressed you are.
