Has anyone done an airport transfer excursion with a transportable mobility scooter? We are traveling from Southampton to Heathrow and have booked a Princess excursion to take us to Windsor before heading to the airport. I am assuming that these excursions are done with a large bus where luggage would go underneath. If that is the case I would believe that I would have no issue getting my mobility scooter under the bus as well as it is able to be broken down in to smaller pieces if necessary. Does anyone have any experiences with this kind of booking? We will continue to have data access while in Europe so if we end up needing to book something different after talking to the excursion desk it wouldn't be the end of the world but I am hoping I can get an idea before arrival.

We are trying a Venty - it is a collapsible fan that weighs less than 3 pounds and can run for 48 hours straight. They're a little pricy but we will use it anytime we are away from home.
