Thanks for the good wishes guys🙂
Mrs K has just got off the phone and the update is the great granddaughters
meds have kicked in ,she has slept well and is eating again and off out to
visit her Nan (our daughter) today ,where she will be spoilt rotten .
Gave us a video chat and she's all smiles ..Amazing how quick kids bounce back .🙂
I'm pleased your great-grandaughter is recovering well. It's amazing how quickly these little mites bounce back from illness.
Our great-grandson was in hospital one Christmas when he was 18 months old. We have videos of him sat up in bed with tubes everywhere, opening his presents without a care in the world, and the biggest smile on his face you could imagine.
I remember as a parent how I would wish I could be ill or feel the pain instead of my children.
Another lovely day here, for the moment, at 17c, but showers forecast for later, we shall see.
Another lazy day planned for us, so enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're up to on land or sea.

It's a little damp here today, bright but drizzley, and it feels a lttle cold too, even if it is 13c.
All this talk about eyebrow blading is making my eyes water😭 I've never been bothered about all the beauty faff, even when a teenager. I did, and still do my own manicures, hair and eyebrows, even though my brows are sparse now. I have my hair cut every 3 weeks and use moisturiser daily, that's it. Mum had a lovely wrinkle free skin and thick hair even in her 80's and I'm lucky enough to be following suit.
She was also short and chubby, and I've got that too😁
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone whether on land or sea.

Oh no I wouldn't kalos😲
If I'm going to be transported from floor to floor, it will wait for me to get on and off before it moves, and have a bloomin' door on it.

We forgot to mention the lifts. Roomy with soft music, and also two on each deck for wheelchair users and their pushers only.

Sorry, but would have to be adults only for me too. Plus some shade on open decks.
Me too, which will take a few decks from Kalos' design

More importantly, can we have an unlimited supply of money so we can afford to sail on her😁

The exterior design and colour scheme is much more pleasing than Arvia and Iona IMO. Hopefully she’s as classy inside as she looks outside, too many other cruise lines have gone down the shopping mall look inside.
One of the most important exterior design features, at least to us, is a real promenade deck like Aurora or Arcadia.

Good morning.
Not a particularly pleasant morning here at the moment. Misty, and 12c, (says the weather app), the garden thermometer says 5c which I believe, it's chilly out there just now.
I didn't have such a good night's sleep, but it's my own fault. The weather yesterday was was so nice that I tried to catch up on the garden jobs and overdid it. The weather has been so erratic that I've tried to make the most of each good day in the garden that I can. I'm only thankful that I can still do it and tend to think I'm still 40+, but last night I realised I wasn't😁
I watched the videos of Queen Anne coming into Southampton last night. Now you know I'm not a fan of large ships but I liked the look of her. I thought she looked more elegant than Ventura, unless it was the angle i was seeing them at. I also think that Cunard's livery gives her a more 'classy' look too.
Well the paractamol are begining to work, so I'll lay the brekfast table and make myself a coffee.
The sun just starting to show it's face as type🌞, but no gardening for us today. A relaxing day in the garden with a good book.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever you're up to, whether on land or sea.

I had to look that one up! Interesting description in a computer game
"Celestia is a mysterious location that very few people understand. It is the floating island that can be seen in the sky above Teyvat, and the residence of the gods. It is currently controlled by the Heavenly Principles, although they have been silent since the cataclysm 500 years ago. It is said that only mortals who perform great, heroic feats can ascend to Celestia and achieve godhood, where they will watch over their people from above. All Vision wielders are "allogenes" who have the potential to reach godhood"
Strange I found the meaning simply as 'Latin origin. Heavenly or from the heavens'🤫
Just looked again and and I've missed out the N. It should be CelestiNa. Sorry about that🥴

Do you think I could add a Michelin starred chef or two at number 26? I know it's not from a ship, but lets be honest, good food is essential for the perfect ship.

We need to discuss size for this perfect ship. I'd vote for Arcadia sized or slightly bigger to allow access to as many ports as possible and be able to go through the Panama canal comfortably. We need something reasonable size to fit in all the goodies.
I agree, either Arcadia or Aurora size,

Seems to be shaping up quite nicely. Any possible names for her?A perfect ship needs an appropriate name, so in keeping with the P&O tradition of names ending with A, I thought 'Bellissima'

3 Seascreen on Azura
4 Cinema on Iona
5 Aft Pool on Aurora
6 Promenade deck on Arcadia
Please ‘quote and add’
7? (or whatever number we're up to) Theatre on Arcadia

Over the weekend our son had both of his email accounts hacked and they locked him out so that he can’t reverse the change. So he spent most of yesterday changing the passwords of his various accounts and other websites. He now needs to create a new email account and then update all of the sites again the new address. It makes me realise the number of companies and other sites I’d have to contact if it happened to me 😩
It’s a mystery how they accessed both of his accounts in one go.
Crikey !!😲 and I thought I was having a bad day.
Technology is an amazingly useful thing..........until it isn't🤬

Must be all the best people having a birthday today, another Taurus, personally think it’s all a load of bull. I’m expecting a parade led by trombones later along with the family for pizza and wine in the garden, just hoping the weather stays kind.
A very happy birthday from one Taurean to another.

Good afternoon all.
Well I think I may be having one of those days where it begins badly and gradually gets worse as the the day goes on😬
I got up this morning to another year closer to 80. Came downstairs to make a coffee and knocked the full jar all over the kitcken floor and worktop. Cleared it all up, opened a new jar and tried again, took it into the front room with me and opened my cards, so far so good🤞
Picked up my mobile to send thank you messages.......... No connection, tried again, still no joy. Rebooted it..... twice , still nothing. Everything else was working except EE network. My daughter's phone, also EE was fine. The problem was with my mobile.
My children and grandchildren put together and bought me a new mobile for my birthday, and there-in lies the problem. My new phone needed a smaller sim card so one was ordered from EE and all my data transferred obviously......However....I was assured that I would be able to use my old mobile until my new sim arrived as I needed it to access my bank. Sim ordered yesterday, no network this morning. 🤬
Love the phone, now I just have wait for the sim, so I can pay the end of month bills. Good thing I did my Asda order yesterday morning😉
Oh well, at least I healthily made it to 77😊😁
Enjoy your day everyone whether on land or sea.x

P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

It looks a little like a raspberry shoot too,and as kalos said, it could also be a bramle. Something that a bird has eaten and then 'deposited the remainder'😉 You could pot it up and see what it grows into. We have two lovely holly trees that the birds kindly gave us, and we transplanted them where we wanted them.
